Hershey's chocolate syrup has a great look. What else?
I am thinking of adding treacle to my videos, btw.
Tate and Lyle's black treacle. That is THE black treacle and most of us get it here in 7.5kg/5litre/1.3 US gal. Whether they ship economically to the US I don't know.
i wish it wasnt so expensive to have it shipped to the us!!
i LOOOOOVE treacle so much!! i want huge tubs of it! i got the black strap molasses by the tub and i had to tweak it to make it like black treacle and it actually turned out BETTER than black treacle to be honest!!
but i would kill for black treacle by the buckets!!!
I've never wammed with treacle, as quite early on we discovered that Mrs Piechap really doesn't like the feeling of very sticky substances on her skin. I absolutely LOVE the look of treacle though when I've seen it used in wam videos,
One thing I've always wondered though, is do you use it at room temperature, or do you warm it slightly before pouring? In some videos it seems to pour in quite a thin stream, which I would have thought it wouldn't do at room temperature?

Yes, I am treacle newbie.
Tate and Lyle famously make two syrups/treacle: Golden Syrup and Black treacle. Black treacle is actually just blackstrap molasses/unrefined sugar syrup. Its consistency is achieved by being blended with some small measure of refined syrups.
In 'real life' it's a flavoured sweetening ingredient used in many traditional British puddings and cakes like parkin, ginger cake and the sponge in sticky toffee pudding. Golden syrup is used more regularly as a topping like maple syrup.
