As JazzTalker already alluded to in another thread.... I've been remastering the SS56-65 era of SlapstickStuff this week, and yes that includes SS61, AKA "Toshia In A Bikini."

I know it seems quaint in an era where a model being forcibly stripped naked and head-dunked into a toilet bowl of mess is a "good start".... But in 2008, when SlapstickStuff was fully PG and Toshia was (is?) the hottest WAM model on Earth... Just getting her to wear a bikini was a monumental event.

And she did it twice! In one shoot! No wonder I used that music for the teaser....

As for the volume itself.... Is this the best Toshia shoot ever? Hard to say... No consensus... But it's probably my *easiest* Toshia volume. No drama, no complaining, no rescheduling. She showed up, had a grand time, got paid (less than what ANY 2024 model makes for even one scene, incidentally)... And was done in 2 1/2 hours.
And I kinda love all the scenes. Especially the non-bikini one, which is Toshia in peak "rude customer" mode, with the long-gone "side profile" angle and sexy tux look, and a "Pie Shop" sign borrowed from a REAL store that existed down the road from me in 2008.

And did Toshia ever wear a bikini again? I don't think so. But did it matter? Not really. (Her sexy lingerie and sexy dresses were equally sexy.) Mostly I'm just nostalgic for this era in general, and Toshia especially.... Drop her in a time machine and let me introduce her to cakes!!

This one was funny for me because Toshia had already worn some skimpy outfits, between the white shorts and top and the sexy coat and tails in other volumes, but this was just one of those WHOA moments. I don't think there's another volume, or WAM video, that has stopped me in my tracks like this except MAAAAAAYBE Lindsay in SS135 and even then, she'd already worn several bikinis. So when this dropped, it was just....DAYUM.

And that second scene is incredible. The hat filled with chocolate, the setup I mentioned a little while ago ("Why would you shut us down? We're already closed!"), the outfit...this whole volume is quintessential Slapstickstuff, that scene especially.

And maybe it was shot at the same time, but re: Toshia and bikinis, she did sport this sexy yellow number later:

I was only remembering that she did a few volumes with Sarah, and no bikinis in those, and then the solo scenes indoors which were different outfits like the nice dresses or the "cowgirl" look.

It *kinda* happened.... But not really. We talked years ago, maybe 2016 or so, I hadn't seen her since she moved to Vegas. And her take was basically, "Oh yeah, I look exactly the same! And that'd be fun to come back, I could visit my brother too."

Then she promised to send some updated pics (because the woman has NO Internet footprint and NO social media, God bless her).... But that never happened. And I kinda knew that talking was as far as it was gonna go.

Years after THAT, I followed up again (maybe post-COVID, like 2021?) but she'd had a kid and definitely wasn't in the headspace of "We should shoot again!" anymore, so that was that. She's not the 1st or 5th legendary model to express interest in returning and then never do it, FWIW.

Also, they're not the same in terms of voice, or personality, or even physical features really... But there are moments in Josie's scenes where she does something SO Toshia-like that I feel like I'm really watching the best version of a T "comeback" shoot. I don't know how else to describe it, but no other models have captured that essential "Toshia-ness" until her.

I'm certainly in the minority in that I always preferred Shelly to Toshia but I do thoroughly enjoy Rich and everyone else here waxing poetic about the greatness of Toshia. Rich should have just married her but I appreciate his unbending policy against dating his models. As usual, Rich FTW!!! (though, just maybe she's the one who got away...)

But maybe, maybe, if we all wish really really really hard....

Personally I was always hopeful for more Kasie bikini scenes with Shelly (or solo) but the ship has obviously sailed on that. IDK that others would measure her up as "legendary."

Brunette Taylor has teased several times about "I should come back!!" And then nothing ever comes of it.
Now she's preggers so that's probably the end. (Technically the end was when she got a raise with lots of money over COVID, but I was holding out hope she'd be that "unicorn" who still wants to get covered in food for a small amount of $$ even when she's pulling down 6 figures.)
