I've often wondered about the relation between WAM and other kinks, particularly CP (corporal punishment).

What's got me thinking again is the discovery of some wonderful clips made by the Spanking Sarah studio featuring a model called Kayleth, who features in a couple of the Rev Slymford's clips, where she takes a fair old battering in terms of being comprehensively trashed as a punishment.

(She's as brilliant as a splosher as she is as a CP submissive, by the way.)

I've also noted some other models do CP work as well as sploshing, is it typical for a model who does WAM to be into other kinks as well? Or do models prefer to specialize in WAM -- there also seem to be quite a few excellent WAMmers and sploshers who wouldn't touch CP with a barge pole (or a more suitable disciplinary instrument, for that matter )

one of the big kinda things though is that this can very easily become something which appeals to neither set of fans
I lot of CP fans like CP and nothing else to the point where they can even go off a Dominant if they see her doing something else (it is frankly ridiculous to a degree - but a framework to be worked in) and a light hearted spanking really wouldn't appeal

I'm also not sure how some of this might sit with splosh fans either.
Mind - there's assorted switch girls who I would love to see caned harshly, and then kiss their poor marks better

I love wam and I love cp / spanking sites. And spanking scenes usually require models who can act, so I have often recruited from that pool...Masie Dee, Pandora Blake, Kayleth for starters, and probably more but after 7 years and scores of shoots I am struggling to remember .

What I have discovered is that most wammers don't view it like this at all , which is totally groovy. But when I am making a wam scene that I am interested in (as opposed to customs for other people) this is the kind of wam I like.

I don't see the direct link between the two. I tend to suspect the CP fetish goes hand in hand with the schoolgirl fetish more than anything. However, any fetish you can think of will inevitably attract some WAM enthusiasts. Not everyone is going to go through life with just a single fetish.

Yeah, to say CP and WAM crossover or are the same is like to say Scotland and England are the same or crossover.

I think for *some* wammers there is crossover tho, because of the dom / humiliation / loss of dignity. For some wammers, their actually fetish is mild roleplay of sub / dom or humiliation roleplays or fantasies (with either themselves, or someone else as the victim).

I am absolutely not a fan of extreme spanking or cp videos where the model has welts or huge red marks, because for me it crosses the line into knowing the model has actually been physically hurt (albeit consensually and quite possibly for their own pleasure)
but there are loads and loads and loads of spanking scenes that are much milder, and where the spanking is simply the tool employed to facilitate the fantasy humiliation scenario..ie it doesn't really matter how hard the spanking is, as long as we can be convinced the victim is embarrassed and humiliated. Same goes for Wam... I could never enjoy a scene where I felt a model was genuinely unhappy. But a scene where she acts in a slightly pantomime embarrassed and humiliated way...bring it on.

But of course there is a huge segment of wammers for whom wam is about the sensory aspect and for whom, therefore, there is absolutely no connection between the two fetishes at all.....but for a lot of us, there definitely is some substantive crossover between the two fetishes. I love both .
