Closeup angle only. Kylie learns you can't spell 'naked' without 'caked.' Or... something like that. This is the rare SS scene with full topless nudity start-to-finish! Super fun-n-sexy scene with Kylie in a G-string (and nothing else) getting 4 cakes, slime, pies and assorted shenanigans!
Please understand that I'm asking this in a respectful way. But, for so many years, you maintained that you were never going to go in the "nude" direction. What brought the change? I own a large amount of SS DVD's, and I always kind of liked the fact they were somewhat wholesome (by fetish vid standards, anyways). Kind of a fun bit of burlesque, if you will!
Well, if you watch this one, it's still very "burlesque." Far more silly and playful than erotic or whatever.
Mostly it's just the models... Kylie in particular. The woman has told me several times she would PREFER not to wear anything for a scene... and when I put her in (now very tiny) bikinis, they basically don't stay put anyway.
SO. I still don't recruit nude models or plan nude scenes, but occasionally when one falls into my lap (ahem), I'll shoot something like this. And let's be honest: Kylie's previous topless scene and a slingshot one (where the slingshot didn't stay put) are my two best sellers of the HD era.... by a LOT. So these outliers fund a LOT of PG-rated clips!

So I know you shoot these videos as a labor of love more than anything else. And you've said that no one is going to get rich off of shooting WAM vids. In fact, its a bitch just to break even. So I wonder why you wouldn't hire models willing to do nude if that is what sells.
1) Considering the lack of money involved, I didn't think it was worth it to sell out my principles and do full-on nude/erotic/adult vids like so many others when I started. To use an example: It's like a model willing to do a nude shoot for, say, $200K.... But not $200.
2) The "no nude stuff" wasn't a big deal when I started. (Remember, this was the era of Phoebe... WLP... Neil's early clothed stuff... Ken's early clothed stuff... etc.) Over time, it became a rare thing. Now, interestingly enough, it's probably the reason I DO have a real niche.... as all the other non-nude producers either gave up, or moved into adult vids like everyone else.
3) Nudity isn't this magic wand that suddenly increases your sales by 300%. It depends on the model, the scene, and a lot of other factors. The best-selling Kylie scene is NOT either of her two topless ones, but the purple slingshot one. (Believe it or not.) I've had fully-clothed models outsell ones who nip-slip. It just depends. And here's the other catch: Limiting yourself to models who shoot nude means you miss out on a LOT of great talent. (*cough*Breana*cough*Toshia*) And the models that do nude? Their rates are MUCH higher... Usually double or more. So you'd better hope that nudity DOES double your sales to offset the extra costs. Bottom line: I'd rather hire the best models I can find (in terms of looks AND personality), and then shoot them as best I can, with the best mess I can, in wardrobe that flatters them the most and doesn't make them uncomfortable. (And that might be a skimpy bikini... or something a lot less revealing... or topless in Kylie's case.) That formula seems to have been successful for me over the years, and going All-Nude-All-The-Time would basically abandon everything that my audience likes about SlapstickStuff. (Plus, I don't feel comfortable going down that already-overly-crowded avenue regardless.) So I won't do it. And I don't think it's hypocritical to say that in a thread showcasing Kylie's bare boobs, because....
4) Just consider the Kylie scenes an outlier. Like the handful of male mess scenes. They're not really designed for the "main" SS audience, but they're in the same spirit... and they wind up being quite successful by bringing in a different audience from our usual stuff. They're fun to do once in a while. I wouldn't want to do them regularly.
5) I never said it was a bitch to break even. Honestly, I'm an OK producer but a better businessman. Outside of Wig-Gate and a couple others, I don't lose money on shoots. Even the "eh" ones break even. The great ones are highly profitable for years. It's still not getting "rich" but being able to do this and not have to hold down a full-time job too? That's successful in my book.
OK maybe it wasn't you, but I know "Its a bitch to even break even" has been said on this site by many producers. I am GLAD somebody makes some money at this stuff.
That's good you have your principles and I am glad you stick to them. But I was not suggesting you go all nude all the time. Because you're right - you would become everyone else and lose your niche.
I WAS suggesting however maybe doing a topless shoot now and then. Once a year, maybe? Especially since it seems to be popular.

Well, it's honestly not that "planned" out. Like I said, I just try to find the best models I can. The "will they do nudity" thing doesn't really matter to me.
That said, IF it proceeds organically, I'm fine with doing them from time-to-time. Kylie was organic because she basically said flat-out she was fine with doing nudity, at no extra cost, so that was a no-brainer. In her first shoot, she kept clothes on and was LESS comfortable (although that might've been the shock of getting messy the first time). So we've found a sweet spot in the way we work now.
If a similar scenario unfolds with other models, I'm down with that. I don't want anyone jumping to conclusions, but there's a couple models I've shot who seem more than comfortable with showing breasts. So we'll see. (And there's also some GREAT models I'm shooting who will never do nude. Or even thongs or super-skimpy. It takes all types!)
I just don't want a situation where I'm actively hunting "nudie models," or paying a model a ton more money because I "need" a new topless scene. Honestly, the way my working relationship unfolded with Bre is ideal... She wore pretty modest outfits and agreed to wear smaller and smaller bikinis as she became more comfortable working with me. (And also, as I paid her more $$.)
You KNOW that's not the way you do it. C'mon. You create a sock puppet account of a "hot girl" who "loves to get messy." You shoot a quick video with a random model to "prove" the "hot girl" exists. You solicit custom requests. You make a quick $1000 from gullible idiots, then your sock puppet account "disappears."
Have you learned NOTHING from all these years on the UMD??
Side note: I have a hot model friend who will TOTALLY do your mud custom. She just needs $100. I'll send you a video.
