Tidal Clay "Stella finds clay during low tide and has fun."
Went on a trip to the beach and was lucky enough to find something good. As I was walking along the shoreline in my one piece swim suitI felt a familiar squish between my toes. Clay. The low tide had uncovered some slick slippery clay for me to have fun in. I found a hidden location behind some reeds and began to work the clay into a pit. I felt it grab hold of me, beckoning me in as I worked it into a pit about 2 feet deep. Finally deep enough I plunged myself as deep as I could into my makeshift mud. I took handfuls of the blue clay in my hands and rubbed it into every inch of my body. I sloshed, rolled, and jumped in. Too bad the beach was public, or I could have taken my suit off and had some real fun.
Due to this being an unplanned last minute find, the video and sound quality are not as good as some of my other videos due to lack of proper equipment. I just wanted to share this bit of muddy fun I was able to have with you.

I wish I could. This was more than 8 hours away from me. If I want to take a road trip for mud that badly I may have better luck convincing Jayce that we could have fun in mud together.

There has not been a day this summer I haven't wondered how it is. Is it flodded over, would I be able to swim in it again? Is it dried out, making a nice mud field? Either way I want to go back and play in it. Worst part of the move.

This was on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. If you go during low tide the beach is covered in clay. Beware of oyster clusters, they can be sharp!

You can always bring home some of the oysters, after your mud bath. Then when people ask you where you were, just tell them you were harvesting oysters!
