I'm not on here as much as I used to be, but I wanted to add my two cents worth (even though they quit making pennies nowadays). I think I must have missed it in this thread, but I can remember a guy who watched a different site crash and burn, and decided that this interest could do with a much better ran and organized forum to give a community a place to settle into. So yeah; a mention is due for MessMaster, our host here for all these years.

And also, in the mentioning of Leon and Lisa, I still can say that I miss her being around. What Leon did earned him his conviction in court so that is what it is. But she tried hard to be a decent member of this site and offered a friendly ear to a lot of people in her sub-forum. I'm not defending what he did, or any part in it that she was involved in for that. But judging her by her history (in the context of this thread) implies that she should be remembered for the positive aspects that she brought as well. Just my opinion and I know not everyone else agrees (and not everyone else disagrees, either) and it doesn't change the present day, but since this is discussing the past decades of UMD, a mention to her (and the lovely Steph who modeled for them as well) seems to not be out of context.

I worked with Jess Fox who I think was a hero and I still have a few scenes unreleased, but she came out of the industry so as a mark of respect I will not be releasing it unless she she comes back.

As for legends as people have mentioned Messy Jessie is one of mine had a couple of sessions with her. Then theee is Bill shipton who gave me a way in with splash I remember buying his VHS in hmv adult section featuring sammy jane and Louise lamore.

Well, I never twigged throughout all the time I was looking at the Splosh forum either, so I guess Bill knew how to play a female character.

This is entirely from memory, so don't quote me, but the other producers I referred to explained that the origin was that Bill used to write the problem page, or maybe edit letters or similar, for an adult magazine he worked for, while posing as a woman.

Odd as this may sound, it was apparently standard in the industry due to readers responding better to a female columnist, while also solving the parallel problem that in those days women simply didn't write for porn magazines. So Bill writing columns "as a woman" squared the circle. Again, that may not be 100%, but I think the context was along those lines. To Bill, posing as "Hayley" on WAM forums was just more of the same.

I am quite sure it wasn't intended to deceive anyone in a bad way, and was instead just how things were done at that particular time. I'm not aware there were any instances where female forum members were unknowingly confiding things to Bill while thinking they were talking to another woman - as has unfortunately happened a few times on here, such as when Mike was posing as Jessie - so perhaps Bill used to explain straight away that he was actually Hayley when female users did PM him.

The worst that could be said, as one producer did point out, is that the concept belonged in the analogue era, when people were communicating at arm's length by letter, and perhaps shouldn't have been brought into the digital one, where communications can be more personal, precisely because of the potential for it to go wrong. Which, again, I don't think happened in this case.

So in short, yes, Bill was Hayley, but I don't believe any harm was meant.

Anyone remember Slimed Susan?

She was wonderful. First and only in person messsy session I had was with her, and it was wonderful that she went around the world doing WAM. I'm not much for traveling, as much as I'd love to go to the UK for a session (much more prevailant over there), it's too much work, so having someone in the US willing to do it was a treat.

Phoebe Rodriguez, MessyFun and GungeGirls were my introduction into the world of "Holy shit, people are actually doing this outside of game shows and it's a thing?"

When I was living back in NY like 25+ years ago, I ordered a VHS from some bizarre production company with burlesque scenes. This was one of the scenes, super basic now compared to today's mess but it was cutting edge at the time. great to see that exchange again.

Im a total Unc compared to a lot of the younger generation currently on here. But for sure, Neil from PieFightGirls was a huge influence for me ( I helped him with some video shoots in LA), Lenny Sorge who loved working with the mature ladies and had an affinity for porn stars who enjoyed getting pied and slimed. Of course Fawn from Canada we used to text all the time, super cool woman. And how can we forget Messy Maddy, surprised she hasn't been mentioned. She was a natural born splosher, she loved getting messy and giving it as well, an awesome lady. Lastly, Persia Monir, the first porn star who really embraced WAM, she absolutely LOVED getting pied and she had fun doing it. She was a mature woman, super curvy, and gorgeous natural bush, she did a bunch of videos with Lenny who she really liked and misses dearly. Im still in contact with her, she told me she misses the pie scene and is always up for a paid mess session.

Anyone remember that PieFightMafia pamphlet that use to come in the mail? Haha, all the pics were black and white so the pie hits were super grainy at best but damn did I look forward to those deliveries. It would have articles and pics of upcoming producers and messy projects.

I still have some of those Pie Mafia newsletters buried under strata of old letters and documents.
