Not that I have any real expectations for a halfway decent movie or pie scene(let alone involving females) after the first monstrosity, but I figured I would throw this out there.
I'd be surprised if anything came of it. Just doesn't fit in with most mainstream comedy today for the most part. I think that kind of it makes it more special when something does happen.

Great idea Jinxguy! May I suggest casting ex Playboy models the Dahm triplets? Who better to play Larry, Curly & Moe, (or maybe Laurie, Carrie, and Maureen?), than Nicole, Erica, & Jaclyn? The Stooges did a film called "Pies And Guys" in 1958, and by simply changing it to "Pies And Gals", we'd have ourselves a winner! The top pics are how they look these days, and the other pics show how playful they are together and what fun they would have (and us) "In The Sweet Pie And Pie". Surely; just add pies:splat:? Maybe a Rich and Wamerica co production?:devil:

Nah. Friends? Seinfeld? Frasier? Everybody Loves Raymond? Mad About You? No pies whatsoever.
There WERE a few pies here and there on American TV, but it was mostly kids shows (What Would You Do, Salute Your Shorts, Family Challenge) or stuff on "TGIF" which was geared towards a younger crowd (Family Matters, Full House). And of course the rise of Disney shows with occasional pie gags. (Nickelodeon did the pie thing with SlimeTimeLive, but not much with original shows.)
And of course no big Hollywood comedies either. You might have a single moment, like The Flinstones or 101 Dalmatians, but those were few and far between.
It's still better than the literal NOTHING on American TV now, of course. Imagine a world where we couldn't access foreign clips from Brazil, Spain, Russia, and elsewhere (no YouTube, no websites)... There'd be no mainstream clips at all.
