I have a forum member here to thank for getting a copy of this for rerelease. I am really very grateful to get this lost classic back into catalogue. It's in the members area of GungeGirls.com right now, it will be in the UMD in a few days once it clears.
I'm grateful, mainly because I love it and it brings back memories of working with Naomi. It's never been a big secret I loved working with her. Such a sense of fun... and she got it. One of the few models that also managed to corner me for a gloopy hug. I learned to bring spare clothes to shoots with her.
Anyway:
Often imitated, but never bettered... The Vote puts two young ladies up against each other in a battle of popularity. The girls record their appeals as to why they should not be gunged and why the others should, then they are released to the world for a week for voting to take place... we then reconvene for the result and for one of the ladies to meet their messy fate!
In this epic episode of The Vote, Naomi went up against Lisa - and lost. Dressed up in her tight jeans and dress shirt she met her fate of white and yellow slime dished out from a rather gloating Lisa...
