After the success of the first training video, I make a second with helpers Erica and Cherry. I decide that it's a good idea to do a proper demonstration of 'The Treatment' and Erica is the unsuspcting victim!
Erica has once again broken the rules so I give her the treatment and get her very messy with coffee, gravy, pies, custard and more!

The only thing is, Cherry is laughing through the whole thing! I think that she's taking away Erica's understanding of the seriousness of her offenses by laughing and causing Erica to laugh!

I think that Cherry needs to get some RE-TRAINING so that she knows how to discipline people who break the rules (if you know what I mean)! Let's see how funny she thinks it is when *she's* the one getting her outfit and hairdo destroyed and getting herself totally trashed! :devil:

It's a good and serious point Norman () . Personally I think Cherry is well within her rights to laugh and gloat AT Erica..it adds to her humiliation, which should enforce the message of the treatment.

I can only imagine Erica's laugh is one of despair as whatever she does it seems she always gets the treatment. If she is genuinely laughing it sends a clear message to Jessie and Erica that they need to get her with more pies and more gunge so the message sticks (much like the pies!).

However, as the writer, I'll let you into a secret. Jessie and Cherry have got a little complacent. They enjoy messing Erica up so much, they have begun inventing fake reasons to give her the treatment , as in this scene. I know! I was shocked too, and I wrote the blooomin' thing

Anyway in the next thrilling episode (!), Erica comes to learn of this, and threatens to go to Ruby and lodge a grievance..unless she can get a messy revenge on her 2 tormentors. And trust me, Cherry and Jessie are not laughing then, oh no.

I can't wait to see how Cherry and Jessie react to their messy comeuppance. Your scripts are always enjoyable.

Ruegger and Norman: Thanks so much for the kind words,

I am delighted you like the scripts. I spent far more time on them than a sane man would, but I have always enjoyed writing.

I try and make the stories have an internal logic and cohesion within the mad / insane world they exit in I like characters to be consistent in their actions and ideas from story to story. Also, if viewed in the order they were written, they are a bit like a soap opera, with events begetting events, and even basic attempts at character development (Lara was in the middle of a journey as someone who was initiallyvery resistant to the idea of wamming someone for fun when she retired.)

Of course Jessie lives in the real world and needs certain types of scenes at certain times, so they go up on the site in random order if at all, but in my own head, I am writing 'The Bold and The Beautiful' or 'Neighbours'!!

I should say, however, that it is the incredible talent of the actresses that bring it to life. They are all brilliant but there is a reason I go back to Cherry and Jessie time after time after time. They can both act and really sell a scene.

There will hopefully be lots more messy adventures for Jessie, Cherry, Erica and the other office girls to come. In the scenes I have done for my own shoot we meet 2 new characters 'Kitten', and 'Maria' so the cast is expanding!

This all sounds quite po-faced and that's not me at all...I just love doing the scripts, and it's lovely to know they are appreciated. Thanks guys!

Could you expand a little on what you said regarding her; I'm not sure if you're referring to her character in your scripts or Lara herself.

Hi Norman

I meant the character. I deliberately wrote her as the member of Jessie's team who thought that giving the treatment was cruel and unfair. One time she refused to give someone the treatment as she had a brand new dress on, so Cherry punished her for that.

She then took Cherry to a tribunal as she felt Cherry had been actually enjoying ruining her dress when she gave her the treatment (which of course she had). Jessie found in favour of Cherry and Lara got it good again.

Later she did get revenge on Cherry but felt guilty for doing it (scene still unpublished) and then schemed with Cherry to get Jessie messy (also unpublished) to make her see how horrible getting the treatment was (Cherry just pretended to agree as she is in for any excuse to mess anyone up).

I had a story arc lined up for her where she gradually came around, but she retired before I could do that. Hence the introduction of Erica.

The actress herself really loved doing the scenes but as I understand it she moved, and her circumstances changed

However if 'the Monkees' and flared trousers can come back, I still live in hope that Lara will come out of retirement someday and shoot more

Thanks for the info! With Lara retired, will you (or Jessie, I guess?) still be able to release those two parts that you mentioned? I'd love to see those!
