So after a fair bit of time, some health issues, and other things getting in the way, I've finally finished the next issue of The Slymsford Times. This is issue 4.
This, for those that dont know, is a magazine that I create completely (design, puzzles,my zany sense of humour, etc.) from scratch in dedication to the amazing hard work Reverend Slymsford.
I really enjoy creating these magazines, and have full blessing for them from the Reverend himself.
This particular issue is the biggest one yet and also celebrates the 10th anniversary of Slymsford Sploshers.

Keep up the good work!
Oh my, thank you for very kind comments. That means alot.
I know exactly the magazine, and its so good that I've managed to recreate the essence of that.

Thanks for all your time and efforts. Very much appreciated.

I don't remember 'Smash Hits' looking anything like this publication! This is some seriously good typesetting from old LeRex Caxton. He's wasted on here. These are brilliant!

Thanks for your very kind comments (im blushing), that really mean alot that my works appreciated. I do really enjoy creating them.
This is unbelievably cool, I feel instantly transported back to looking at the freehouse on my shitty internet connection, I'm like dizzy from the nostalgia!!!!!! I really want to try making something like this (although way less detailed and professional looking!!!! These are seriously incredible!!!!!) from some of my scenes, are there any tips you could pass along? What software would you recommend or even just like, general process tips or things you wish you realized earlier? This is so fucking cool and I feel so excited to try contributing to the community like this

I use a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design. First planned out/story boarded, then Each element and page is worked on, using a number of layers (each page can have 50 or 60 or more layers), abd smart objects between Photoshop and Illustrator, then finally put together using In Design. So can take a bit of time.

strange you say this, as this is being looked in to.
A huge huge thank you, Le Rex, for making these amazing e-magazines. It's so apparent what an incredible work of art they are. There's so much creativity too, with the problem pages and word searches and the laugh out loud, Bill would have been proud, puns.
As for the centre spread..it really does look amazing. I had to ask myself...did I create all those scenes..somehow you have made them look even better than I remember .
I can say honestly, and with hand on heart, that one of my proudest achievements, possible *the* proudest, as a wam producer, is having my scenes made into photo shoots, that look just like Bill's Splosh magazines. They photo stories look amazing, and seeing them, exactly as Bill's were, makes me feel like I really am a wam producer, not an imposter.
I love love love the magazine, and honestly, I am totally on board with making it a limited run printed edition.
Huge huge huge achievement and I am so glad that you are getting the acclaim all yuor hard work deserves.
Again, words can't say how happy and honoured I feel to have a magazine made up of my work.
