Each contestant will take their seat on The Plunga!, they will be asked 5 questions, for every question they get wrong, they will move up the ramp, bit by bit. If they get to the top, their opponent will get to 'Plunge Them'.
If they answer all correctly before getting to the top, their opponent will swap places with them and be immediately 'Plunged'.
There is 3,000 litres of very thick, very green slime in the pool and 2/3 overhead gunge pumps.
Once in the vat of gunge, it is not possible to get out without assistance, each mucky contestant will have to complete one or more challenges in order to get out of the deep pool which will rotate amongst games, including:
The HotSpot: A bonus question which if answered incorrectly, will result in a pump of gunge spraying over them in the pool.
Michaela Says: A series of dares and challenges e.g. falling face-first into the gunge with hands behind their back.
Pebble Hunting: Pebbles are thrown into the slime and the contestants will have to find them by going right down underneith the thick slime.
