Here's 1 for folks, we've all had that 1 outfit or pair of shoes and somehow not done a session in them, despite maybe bought for a session but has not happened.
Mine was a business suit with turquoise satin shirt with turquoise patent heels.
The plan was as part of a job I had, we did a fancy dress party and the aim was 1 of the staff members was to basically be covered in wet and messy items while in a paddling pool.
As much as I had made an effort to basically want to get the mess, another colleague who was dressed equally smart but not as liked as me, met the mess.
Even when came to home sessions or sessions with others at the time, the suit never was encouraged to get messy, I'd end up in something else or told it's too nice to ruin.
The closest it got to mess, a WAM friend at the time was looking to get me in for a session as she had a scene in mind, when she saw me in the suit & heels, even she couldn't get it messy despite my wishes.
In the end the suit & heels laid in my wardrobe without a blemish, maybe one day, I eventually get covered in foam, gunge or just have a shower or bath in it.
We have used dry clean only clothing and sometimes it's dried with no issue and looks mint again once dry, sometimes it's a write off on the first go.
I have to say that having abused many pairs of Expensive high heels some brand new from their boxes depending on the abuse pretty much all we have used have cleaned and dried with no issues. Of course sinking a pair of heels in a muddy field will result in heel covering damage and the leather soles go from light to black depending on the kind of mud it is,but I have been surprised when Josephine has stayed on her toes from time to time and explored and once the footwear is clean some pairs have shown little or no damage. Washing with clean water towel dried and allowed to air dry quite often the shoes are good to go and nobody is any the wiser. So I would say go for it with that outfit!! I have to say in terms of an outfit not abused, I've always loved the idea of taking Josephine to a dress agency and hire an outfit with designer shoes and do a wet scene and dry and return it to see if we get away with it. That would be very naughty

I don't get messy in anything that I'm not planning on throwing out right after. I don't have a washing machine in my apartment and take my laundry over to my parents' house to do it, so I wouldn't want to risk having to explain anything. It means I've only really done stuff in old worn out underwear and the like.
