Sweets and slimes, always - naked or clothed. Gameshow and humiliation-related premises are solid; submersion-based stuff, especially in thick substances, are *real* quality, and it's always real good to see a smile, enthusiasm, or just some kind of eager self-messing.

Top-tier for me right now is WAM paired with forced orgasm, masturbation, or toys. Definitely prefer slime/gunge over other substances, tend to prefer it somewhat chunky, but not thick to the point where it can't run down the neck/waistlines. Mud can be good, too. Pies...I enjoy sometimes, tend to prefer them sloppy (pudding, custard, etc.), but probably >50% of the time the result doesn't merit the effort, in my book. Have never really gotten into savoury food WAM, the result doesn't justify the waste in my mind.

Most of the time I prefer there to be a reason the girl is getting messy ("someone pushed her into the mud" can be enough of a reason). Also prefer that (at least within the narrative of the scene) she wasn't necessarily expecting to get messy (though I do enjoy the thought of some of the MostWam girls (particularly the ones who tend to lose at games most of the time) going in to film something like GTG and knowing they'll probably be gunged multiple times before the day is out). One of my favorite scenes from a now-defunct producer had the model exclaim "I didn't know I was actually going to get pied today!" after the first pie hit, followed by a quick jump cut, and It certainly seemed like she meant it (esp. given the jump cut, presumably cutting out where the producer reviewed the paper trail of emails with her to show that she should have been expecting to get pied that day). She still went on with the rest of the scene, though. (There was a whole bruhaha and it came to light this guy was less than honest with some people, incl. models, but I think her reaction was more likely out of a misunderstanding than any deliberate deceit on his part.)

There's an area where things can get super-nuanced for me: I don't like it if she has, in real life, been tricked into getting messy by being told "You won't get messy," but even here, there's a possible scenario that's an exception: spoiled-brat popstar-type in her borrowed dress has it in her contract that she's not supposed to get slimed, but her goofy comedian stagemate says "F it" and drags her in anyway. In that case, it's more "she needed to be taken down a peg or two" than "a trusting relationship was deliberately and maliciously exploited".

And I think all parties involved would agree that my intentionally not warning Sky that the gunge was probably going to be cold was all in good fun.

Prefer fully clothed about 99% of the time, though I've enjoyed several lingerie/topless/full nude scenes. I can enjoy messy swimsuits, too, if it's not being worn under anything else. A rogue swimsuit strap peeking out from under clothes has slightly ruined many a set up by telegraphing that the girl expected to get messy (same as when they just happen to change clothes before getting slimed on certain shows we don't talk about on here anymore). Prefer skirts/dresses/dressy clothes. One of my favorite sights is the outline of a girl's bra showing through her soaking wet/slimy/gungey clothes.

Enjoy clothes/undergarments filling, but prefer accidental to intentional in this aspect (see the first AF scene featuring the art student "Oh, it's down my dress!", SS69 sc 4, or SS33 sc 1 outtakes, [edit]SS27 sc 3, how could I forget!?[/edit]; also happened to the model in my avatar twice while filming that scene). I overwhelmingly prefer slime scenes where it is easily imagined (or even plainly visible) that the mess has made it into the undergarments to scenes where it gets in the hair qand maybe a light spackling of the bosom, but nowhere near the nether-regions.

Tend to prefer if the girl hates it (or at least acts like she does* (this latter being my preference were I to find a partner to WAM with IRL)), but sometimes ironic enjoyment (or initial hatred turning into enjoyment) is fun, too.

Yes! This. I like the idea of a character getting 'taken down a peg' but dislike when the scenario is exploitative. Like i don't like the creepy landlord wams tenant scenario's, but like the scenarios where the model is playing a stuck up character getting a comeuppance or whatever.

There are decent amount of aspects of a scene that will make it go from good to great for me. Thicker, but not too thick gunge/slime (the gold slime from Danica Patrick's sliming comes to mind), full coverage, nice shoes/heals, good face coverage, and probably a few others.

But each time, the definite make or break for me is the outfit. A casual "going out" outfit is really all I ask for. A nice dress, a jacket, ideally leather, anything else leather, really. It can be paltry coverage, but if it happens while the woman is wearing a nice outfit, I'm going to like it.

I also prefer mainstream scenes, too. A producer scene has to tick a few boxes for me, which some, especially Mostwam, do.

Jayce. Is it the fact that you like that thick substance because it is just really messy and thick, or is it more the bondage aspect of being stuck/trapped in the substance and hard to escape? For me WAM is about the physical sensations, and to this end any scenario that capitalises on that is ideal. Because it's about the feeling, and also intensely sexual for me, staples such as cake sitting, underwear filling, or anything that involves the messing of sex parts is absolutely my favourite.

That said, because sexual physical experience doesn't have to be limited to that area, then neither does the mess. I love it when, at the moment just prior to orgasm, the model's head is plastered in an excessive amount of pies or thick gunge. Yup, that would make sense. It's weird because I feel like the descriptions of SMB movies talk about nudity and masturbation, but then they seem to film in a way that skips the good stuff. Pretty similar to Newt really. I like corny pantomime type acting, lots of "let me have it!" and "give me that pie!" type exchanges and the girl or girls have to be very smartly dressed, so you think "they look gorgeous surely they're not going to get trashed?" but they get the lot.

Good comedy works really well, indeed half-decent comedy works too! The trouble is it is very hard to do and timing is key. A comedic script isn't something you can pick up and do straight away, it needs a few read throughs to get the gags and timing, there's coordination of mess and people (See Emily loves pink gunge for a well delivered hit - script said go on the first G of gunge and they did - https://umd.net/download_info/emily-loves-pink-gunge) There's no point using trigger phrases if you don't trigger on the phrase. The other issue with comedy in the community is it's hard to promote the scene - thumbnails don't convey jokes and if the trail has the gags in it, why buy the scene? I had a quick look and there isn't even a tag for comedy or funny in the stores area, maybe that's because no one has added them as a tag when uploading?

There have been scenes that are just hilarious unintentionally, I recall a Mostwam scene on the mud was fantastic, indeed there were a couple of scenes recently added to the remastered area of mostwam.tv where half of the team are in fits of giggles!

I heard a tale that a @MyPierogative scene received a great reaction when shown at Messtival, yet had sold a handful of copies - I'd link it but I don't know which scene it was!

Slapstick has its fans, as does clowning, a well written, well performed skit where you know what's coming seemingly before the performers can be great (Morecambe & Wise repeats are still funny even when you can do most of the lines yourself!) Hmmm, perhaps its something that needs a few folks collaborating? I know how much work goes into compiling a quiz, let alone writing comedy, really it needs a script bouncing back and forth being finessed and then ideally rehearsed to give the best outcome, all of which adds to the cost of production - I've only written a few short comedic lines in recent years, but perhaps it's something I should be discussing with @RevSlymsford.
