Ok, I remember seeing this on one of my poor quality Hurley VHS tapes. Is there a decent quality clip or pics floating around somewhere.?

I've got it on a Hurley DVD. Which is just a transfer from the tape.

I tried doing a youtube search and came up empty.

I figured the OP was talking about one where it's girls in bikinis, etc. and it descends into madness; i know the talk show clip that is posted, also on one of Hurley's tapes.

But the Latina beauty one, i recall it was at the end of whatever the program it was, and involved several women, all getting pied, and then it kind of breaks out into more of a food fight-style by the end, as credits roll.

It's definitely a good one, though the coverage is hit and miss in terms of catching each girl as she's first pied.

I couldn't sleep, so I ended up going down a Hurley Clip Tape worm hole. The scene in question is indeed the Latina Beauty Queen pie fight on Univision--at least in my mind; only HappyCamper can affirm, as he started this thread. For those who care, it's HC clip tape number 13, right at the 2 hour 10 minute mark. And the quality on my DVD is substantially bettter than that youtube clip, but still 10 times worse than a modern slapstickstuff HD vid. This has been a blast from the past; it took me a lot of fast forwarding through hours of the Richard Bey show and What Would You Do clips. It's amazing Hurley compiled all that stuff so many decades ago, and reminds me how slim the WAM pickings were back in the late 90's and early 2000's. It also reminds me that I'm getting old. I'm attaching a screen shot to give you all an idea of the quality. Good night.

I believe WAMTEC has them, but they are not numbered the same way Hurley did. As mentioned above, this is on HC #13, I think WAMTEC has it as 3717:

Back in the day, HC#13 was my favorite WAM video tape. 2 hours of pie and mess scenes. Introduced me to the slapstick genius of Ken Shimura.

Too funny, I look forward to a few of these nights over the holidays once my VCR and video capture card arrives. Found a stash of old VHS tapes and can't wait to go through them. Pretty sure I have 4 or 5 of Hurley's in there. And yeah the old Richard Bey Show scenes ha ha...classic.

Pretty sure this was the "gold" volume for me, too. I wanna say Vol. 10 or maybe 12 was also a favorite? But HC#13 was the one that got the most play.

A clip I always loved was a cute brunette with a southern accent getting pied I think in a college bathroom or a college pool/rec center bathroom (lots of tile, very echo-y) for losing some kind of bet. Shaving cream pie. Outside of the game show and sitcom pies, it was maybe the first time I'd seen a homegrown, amateur clip that ticked all my boxes. (I even recall it comes on the tape after a Clam Chowder wrestling bit from, I think, the old Conan show.)

There's also a clip, again I think from HC#13?, that falls after some woman on Entertainment Tonight gets slimed at Universal Studios standing on this industrial grate/under some yellow piping re: an ALIEN (the movie)-type experience? (Weird how much I remember the clips that came before the ones i liked, as much as the ones I actually liked) That might've been the 2 women pied on the old game show "Treasure Chest", which I LOVED - beautiful late 70s/early 80s models, and really goopy/marshmallow-y pies, pushed into their faces. That one blew my mind.

I always had the Hurley compilations on VHS, and wore out the fast forward and rewind buttons to get to the "gold" sections; there were a few clumped together, but then there were single scenes here and there I was a fan of. I always thought about upgrading to DVDs but never did, and now definitely wish I had bc I have like 20 VHS tapes sitting in a box under my bed collecting dust and I wish I could access the stuff more regularly. I think I ended up getting about half of Hurley's tapes, and a fistful of others (Neil's House of Pies, a few WAMTECs).

Anyway, to swing it back around to the original post, the Latina Beauty Queen fight was definitely one of the better scenes I ever came across and feel like without Hurley I'd've never seen. (Who knew someday there would be YouTube?) I actually really liked the pieing that Piederman posted the pic of, with the girl shaking her head going "No, no" and then getting it.

I got all of those Hurley clip tapes, some from Wamtec which were numbered differently as CKCP said. My favorite was one of the early ones with Pam Dawber getting pied and some other good stuff.
Did any of you continue watching a tape after the content ended to see if Hurley snuck a scene in at the end right before the tape ran out? Yeah, no way he'd put something in there without promoting it but I still made sure.

Dude, I was the exact same way. I picked the Hurley clips carefully, because I did not have a lot of money back then. I probably have about half of the volumes. But I also bought Neil's house of pies. Those were pretty good. Clip tape number 13 was my favorite as well. For the aforementioned Latina beauty Queen pie fight, the Dolly Parton sliming, and a clip of the Camilla Scott show where a gal pied her sister about 20 times while she was in stocks.

And hey, it was my pleasure. Like I said, it was a trip down memory lane.
