Calling all Wam veterans , any tips on thawing 3 gallons of ice cream would be appreciated. I have 3 , 1 gallon tubs of vanilla ice cream to thaw some time soon looking for tips to accomplish this. I was thinking of submerging the closed buckets in hot water for a while. Any tips would be appreciated.

running water thaws faster than hot water submersion, if you can put the tubs in your shower on cool, and just let the thaw happen

I agree with the warm/ hot water thing, or in a pinch leave it outside or in your car I had to do that with coolwhip once before a session.
