Around a week and a half ago, I posted a message asking about Mehron.
My friend and I had accepted a dare to perform as silver animatrons. The performance took place Saturday evening. It was great. Since several people have expressed interest in how it went, I submitted a blog post on it a little while ago.
I want to say thank you to many wammers on this site who have been very helpful and supportive.
We stumbled on the site through a Google search on metalic silver body paint and found several people who were glad to help us out.
Someone asked me what is the most surprising takeaway from this experience. That's easy, and I never would have believed it beforehand.
Not only is it not the worst thing in the world to be laughed at, but, in the right situation, it is actually incredibly liberating. Once you've made the decision to do the Chicken Dance in front of 20 or so of your closest friends and a bunch of strangers, while coated head to toe in silver paint, anything else you do in life is rather sophisticated in comparison.
