I disagree that it's terrific news. I had all of my content (trailers, pictures, etc.) that were on Pornhub purged and removed today when that happened. I wasn't notified, and with it being my own content, feel like it was a disservice to people actually trying to promote themselves on there. Sure, there was a piracy problem, but those things should have been taken care of on an individual basis and not have the entire community of unverified users stripped of their work. Taking people's unverified content away on pornhub won't stop people from pirating on other sites. They're hurting a huge amount of amateur content creators by nuking the site like that.

@Kinkycosplayer They had to do this rather quickly when the two biggest credit card companies shut them out.
You could have used their verification process to keep your account active. Other people here also promote there and did this. Their content is still there. You can recreate an account if you want.
