I was thinking about it and in all my years lurking here, I don't think we've ever done a crowd sourced experiment together (if there are any, please correct me). I propose that we all pitch in to add to the world's list of poorly performed science experiments to find the answer to one simple question - "Just how much gunge will a one piece swimsuit hold before leaking"

Obviously we'll need some controls to ensure consistency:
1) Consistent viscosity - To address this I propose we start with just pre-prepared custard in 1 litre cartons as the units
2) Swimsuit consistency - No cut outs to the side and sensible fit (the right size, rather than far too tight or far too small)

Once we have a consistent baseline, a smaller data set will be required to see how viscosity or swimsuit tightness affect pre-leak capacity but that will probably go beyond the scope of our original experiment.
Shoot me down if you're a luddite and don't want to see the community enlightened . I would contribute my own findings but strangely as yet I haven't found anyone willing to volunteer for the experiment
There are doubtless already some videos that have documented results that would form a start to our data set.

Type of leak (through the leg hole or through the surface of the swimsuit) would be useful information for each data point if we can gather it.

So, any thoughts? Could this help to engineer a space age high capacity swimsuit? Do we need any more experimental controls before beginning in earnest to find willing participants in the experiment?

i know i did one in a full piece swimsuit i will be releasing here pretty soon in my super thick mystery substancce. the thicker the substance, the more it will hold!! im telling truths~!! you can barely even get it to come back out!!! it was quite incredible!!! i think if you are a fan of custard, maybe try adding something to thicken it up quite a bit. maybe cake batter? i swear if it is heavy and thick it will help!

Now this I can't wait for!! How long do you think until it's up??
