Not trying to single the guy out, or force him out of hiding, but the 5-6 of us who followed the CM threads clearly remember criticism unwarranted. Well, this was his last post, almost 3 months ago:
As CM was circling the drain, I made the joke that when the show finally became unwatchable and we stopped posting about it, CU would simply disappear off the forum. Except... Turns out it wasn't a joke. The show left the forum, and so did he.
I honestly can't think of any other posters who were SO specific about only commenting in certain threads. I mean, I usually get the same handful of people commenting in my posts, but those are not the ONLY posts on the UMD where they exist. I find it fascinating that one account commented only on ONE particular show (and a few other similar Latin shows here and there).
Any other examples, I'd love to hear them. (Also, insomnia sucks.)

Wasn't that RunninRebel, AKA The Guy Who Harasses Literally Thousands Of Celebrities On Twitter To Get Pied For "Charity" And Makes The Entire Community Look Like Monstrous Sexual Deviants?
(Ah, now I see why he went with "RunninRebel" instead.)
Chainsaw John! Bringing it back! Yeah he was a mud guy and appreciated artsy stuff but I don't think he was as strictly niche as the CM guy and RR. He disappeared after a spat with the WAMF girls (what should have been our first clue to the content of their character). Nice guy.
I remember Chainsaw John! I was lurking at the time (mid-late 2000s), and my recollection is that he was quite a regular poster, rather than niche. He used to post shots of his tackle, although I can't quite remember why. I don't think it was meant in a sexual way at all, and instead it was just something he liked doing...
I semi-remember the stink his proposed WAM awards caused - was it because it implied a slight on those models/producers that weren't nominated? - although in fairness to him I think he had good intentions.
Don't remember why he stopped posting, so I'll take thedude's word for it that it was after an argument with WAMF, and he's certainly right about a clue to their character. Sigh. How to be WAM Legends and then blow it...
Ah, I forgot about the WAM Awards. MAN people got angry.
Sadly, the main thing I remember was him posting a pic of his penis (back when that was NOT allowed on the UMD) for.... Some reason? I think he was trying to pick up women?? Anyway, it apparently slid by the mods. HOWEVER.... When other folks started trolling him (and others), they would just post that same pic of CSJ's penis. Eventually they DID get banned for penis pics. But for a while it was basically a UMD meme.
Didn't Chainsaw John also have some blowout with former wam model Grace. he felt they had a future together or something, and claimed she was leading him on? Something like that. I specifically recall him posting a lot, and several people calling him a suck up.

Well, he was *one* of the guys who harassed literally thousands of celebrities on Twitter to get pied for "charity" and made the entire community look like monstrous sexual deviants.
Well there was inside out sweatshirt scrunchy guy from back in the day. And of course there was Trevor who was super specific about being a raging asshole with every post.
This all got me thinking, do you cats think that guys like Runningrebel might be on the spectrum or something like that? Not meaning to be insensitive, but what else could account for such obsession?
There has and always will be the crazies. It happens on internet forums no matter where you go on the internet. Some of this guys were just plain out there. Don't get me started on KCA or any of those guys.

You're probably right. There was one UK based poster who was banned from here about a year ago, after he'd pissed off about every female model/producer here in the UK by the way he came across, both on UMD and social media. I don't think he meant any harm, but he was over-enthusiastic all the time and did not seem to understand social rules at all. Yes, he did come across as a jerk, but I also felt a bit sorry for him as I thought it pretty likely he was on the spectrum, because he genuinely didn't seem to know how he was meant to behave.
I post almost exclusively in threads about women messing up men. I read a lot more than that, because I like to see most types of people get messy, but it's these ones that make me want to chime in. I think it's because women-on-men content is (generally speaking) few and far between and I want to support it/suggest recommendations to similar-minded folk. The same goes for commenting on pictures/profiles, as there are some people here who have literally lived my dreams. They are good people.
I knew Chainsaw John at the time. Some wam model had him fly out to the other side of the country, then she had him fly her home with him, until she wanted to go back to her ex and had him pay for plane fare back home. He was devastated at the time. Then somebody sent threatening letters to his new girl's employer, so he decided to drop out of sight. She got fired anyway. That was at least five years ago - maybe more. The guy sure had bad luck.
Back when I was chatting a lot more (it was on Yahoo Messenger, to give you a timeline), I was pretty adamant that the guys I chat with (at least pretend to) share some pretty niche ideas about what made 1990s Nickelodeon game shows so enticing.
I think I drove some of them to near insanity making them talk me through what it would be like to be sent to the What Would You Do? Pie Pod by me.
Just to chime in, late to the party as usual. The fetish has always been something different in the minds of each and every WAMer in my opinion, its just that some are more vocal or obnoxious or insistent or any combination thereof in advocating their own particular tastes. Understandable in that as WAM fans and many of us consumers of WAM products we want to see things that reflect our personal taste.
I would love to see general understanding of this and respect of everyone's taste. But I would also love to see a Lombardi Trophy in Philadelphia. Doesn't mean it will ever happen.
Personally, I'm on this site for pie stuff pretty much exclusively. And I like it presented in the old school slapstick style. Not a fan of nude or even topless pies, laughing reactions or overtly sexual reactions. I like pretty, young, well-dressed girls hit with pies who either deserve it as comeuppance or who are innocent targets. Set-up and context are huge for me.
As for trolls, a sad fact of life of the Internet, I've learned to filter them out and ignore them completely, as I would a facebook ad or any other piece of cyber-sh*t.
For me the good outweighs the bad of the UMD messy forum. Its pretty much the exclusive source of info and products for my interest which is invaluable, and the garbage that at times surrounds what I'm here for is just that...garbage.
Keep up the good fight , vast majority. Trolls and obnoxiously specific people, you may exist, but dont expect me to care.

Are you sure about that? I thought the Eagles looked pretty good when I watched the Carolina game the other day, and the NFC is now wide open following Aaron Rodgers' injury.
I'd have said the future looks brighter for Philly fans than it has for a few years now, really...
