I'm making a new batch of slime! This time I didn't add any coloring. The white color is mostly from air bubbles trapped while mixing. Hopefully as it has time to settle, it will become more transparent. This particular batch turned out very sticky - which I love! Can't wait until I fill up multiple buckets!
This slime has a very simple recipe - clear glue + liquid starch/borax. Adjust the proportion of liquid starch and dissolved borax to modify the stickiness. Add to the glue until you reach your ideal consistency.
White glue can work, but I prefer clear glue - it might be my imagination, but I think that the texture is better.
Cleanup is pleasantly easy! Last year I played on my waterbed with a slime combo of j-lube, gobbledy goop, and sticky yuck - cleanup took forever! This slime made from glue and liquid starch/borax really sticks to itself well, so you can pretty much peel it away from yourself. A little blob picks up stray slime like one of those dust-grabbing keyboard cleaner slimes. The rest dissolves in water. Seriously, that's what makes this stuff the perfect slime! 1. Easy to make 2. Fantastic to use 3. Easy to clean up!
This stuff is awesome. The picture and the video is so hot. I wish there would be more pictures or a whole movie with this stuff. I like the color too. It reminds me of the Ghostbuster movie where such pink slime starts to fill a bathtube. To bad the woman noticed the slime and she doesn't get into the tube with slime
Here are two pics of the strikingly different looks you can get with this slime. Colored black, it looks like she's trapped in heavy tar! Without coloring, it takes on more of a clear look. One issue with the "clear" slime... as you play with it, air bubbles inevitably get trapped in the very thick slime, causing it to take on more of a whitish hue... looking like... well, you know.
I have a couple more pics of the clear slime showing a very cool transparent curtain of slime, but those would probably belong in the Male Wam section.
