Okay so I have so much extra spray paint in Christmas colors from painting pumpkins I would LOVE to make art on my body. My new weight gain of about 8 pounds? I have more curve. I have more cheeks. I got more booty I wanna embrace it! So? How dangerous is this,? I mean I have done questionable stuff. I really want to try it but keep my face out of it. Cover my head with safer paint to top it off. Please be honest if I'm a moron. I have painters tape I am dying to wrap my body in and make amazing designs! So I will have it on me for about 12 to 15 mins tops. Not on face. The paint has primer. It is a 4in one krylon paint for painting things like pumpkins. Thanks for your help!

I completely advise against it because of the toxic chemicals. That's something really dangerous especially with exposure to it for long periods of time can be very detrimental to someone's health, especially primer.
Don't to it. Too many toxic chemicals in that stuff. It's okay to get a little on your hands while painting pumpkins, but its extremely dangerous to cover your whole body with it.
I have worked with Krylon paint before. The reflective stuff that you use for property markings for the fire department and shit. I got some on my fingers during the course of spray painting. I scrubbed and it did not come off. So I just waited a few days until it faded away all together. My paint exposure was just fade because it was while I was crossing the edges and not really pressing on the nozzle. After that I wore latex gloves every day so I did not have to deal with the stuff. I don't know if that orange stuff will even take it off if you did direct full on purpose spraying. You can save the paint for next year or another project, but please do not paint yourself with the rattle can stuff.
As incredibly amazing we all know you would look, I'd advise against it too. That stuff is too toxic for that amount of coverage, not to mention it would be almost impossible to safely wash off.
These spray paints contain dangerous irritants and toxins. Not to mention the fumes. The only feasible WAM application might be in a fully clothed sketch (spraying onto a vintage white suit or something) as part of some further assorted mayhem outdoors.
You can now get water based artists' spray paints which would be a lot safer to work with indoors and on skin. Do some tests first, obviously.
You used to be able to get brush out temporary coloured hair spray in the 1980s and I always thought that would be effective in WAM.
You could perhaps load up an electric spray gun with something body safe, and still get the look and process of spray painting. That would be fun to see!
Please please please! DO NOT give yourself the Krylon touch. There's a reason bodypaints exist and are very different. Aside from the chemicals in the paint, the propellant isn't exactly safe for you either. Then there's the flammability factor...
This is former cosplay friend I used to follow. She's gotten really into body paint and knows her shit. If you want to do paints, she's a really good go to on what to and not to use etc.
I am going to just say this: if it is dangerous or hazardous materials, its not worth it. Nobody....I mean Nobody should ever do this or feel pressured into doing stuff that is going to put the model or person at risk. I have a lot of respect for the community and the models. As someone growing up with a father that did professional photography for many years, the first rule and most important rule was "safety first." If it jeopardized the photo, it would not be done because again.....one take is not worth the longterm damage that will come from it. This is my opinion and I am being honest and blunt, but it is because I dont feel....scratch that....I know it is not right to cross lines that puts a persons health at risk. When someone cares about another person, they would set their needs aside and put the other persons safety first. Again just my position on the matter. I know some many argue and challenge this, but again they are not the ones putting themselves at risk, so they shouldn't even have a say. Other than that, you are doing an amazing job with your content and I hope you continue to do them safely.

Jayce use soap paint instead it's better for your skin and is easy clean up

Noooooooope, nope, nope, nope. Just nope. Spray paint has solvents in it that you do NOT want hanging out on your skin.

"electric spray gun". NO, just absolutely NO
The pressure at the tip of an electric spray gun is MUCH higher than from a compressed air sprayer. It is high enough to inject the paint into your skin.

An airless sprayer is a no-no. An HVLP sprayer (high volume, low pressure) is okay.
I've tried spray paint once. It's a real pain to get off. You can get burn marks even on the sensitive parts of your body. So no. Would absolutely not recommend it. I regret i've done it.
