One thing I used to love to do was position myself (standing or walking) to be splashed by passing cars near a large puddle. Has anyone ever done this or done this to another?
I've never been splashed by cars, but on rainy days when I'm accidentally splashed by cars, as soon as I get home, I usually go directly under the shower with my clothes on.
That has not happened to me. The one time i stood by a puddle waiting for him to splash me, he actually went around so is too Not splash me. I would do that in a heartbeat and stand there hoping for repeated splashing absolutely drenching me. I agree with you about once soaked, take a fully clothed shower to clean up. Especially shoes filled with mudy water. Awesome
yep, done that loads of times, one that always comes to mind was when i was wearing a calf length fluffy black coat and most likely top skirt and heels, i stood by a large ish puddle and got splashed lightly by a few cars, saw a lorry coming and thought great, this was back when i used to use an umbrella to keep the rain out of my face because it would make my make-up run and sting them.
i saw the lorry approach i think i turned my back to it and still had my umberella up, next thing i knew i was laying in a puddle of grass and water, the force of the wave of water knocked me off my feet, it was back in the 90's so i really cant remember if i was facing it and went backwards or face down, i remember getting back up and just feeling so heavy with water, it was very nice, learnt to brace after that with the big ones,
nowadays i use a fur hat with a brim to keep the rain off my face and keep my head warm, old age!, the outside gets drenched but stays dry on the inside, that way the umberella doesnt stop me from getting as wet as i like.
aside from cars i have been splashed by park runners, i used to do the park run for around 6 months but it started to hurt my knees so i ended up stopping the run (24mins was my fastest around 45years old,') then i used to be one of the volunteer marshals and on rainy days i would go stand where the biggest muddy puddles were that the runners run through,
i had to wear one of the hi-vis bibs but i still ended up soaked and muddy

I must ask, when you say "fluffy black coat, are you talking about a puffy long black coat?? I have done that with a long puffer jacket that got completely soaked with both mud AND water, oh man that was a fun rainy day!

Yes!! - i love being splashed by cars (i don't mind the mess) - when i lived back in the UK there was a huge rainfall and when it passed the roads had HUGE puddles, there I went out for a walk (skinny jeans, tight fitting button up) and there was a bridge where the sidewalk was really thin so the cars had no choice but to drive through the huge puddles as I slowly walked along - creating a 5 ft shower to soak me - I walked up and down to make sure i got it good!
Wow this is such an awesome idea! Sounds really fun
