That's an impressive blending of the real and the virtual, especially the pic where they are standing mostly dry but with the bottoms of their skirts in the water. Ta for posting these.
Interesting fantasy scene. All that is missing is the virtual cops that come to arrest them, cos the last time you could shoot wetlook models in those fountains without getting arrrested was about 25 years ago. I used to shoot wetlook photos and videos in those fountains in the 1970's and 80's....but all that changed after the UK Poll Tax Riots of 1989 and T Square then became a major hub for political demonstrations, and then the authorities banned people from going in those fountains. They relaxed things a bit in the 1990's and allowed the public to paddle in the fountains, but in recent years they have clamped down again. In the early 1990's wetlook producer David Wilkey (Artscene/Aquantics) tried to do some shoots and was quickly detained by the police. BTW...there is no law against wetlook....the cops charge you with "causing a disturbance of the peace".....which is a joke. The only times the cops turn a blind eye to wetlook bathers is on special occasions (gay pride rallies) or special events such as rock festivals (but then they board up the fountains and drain the water anyway).
The last time England won the world cup football tournament was in 1966 when I was 11 years old....there were many in the fountains then......maybe England will win the world cup again before I die....I am not holding my breath.
Those fountains are as impossible to film in as the Trevi fountain in Rome. In order to get away with filming in Trafalgar Square you have do blend in and not cause attention. I think the last wetlook producer to successfully do a shoot at T Square fountains was Leon and his Mostwam girls circa 2003....so kudos to Leon for being able to do what few people have ever done.
I remember spending time at T Square on New Years Eve in the early 70's...the wetlook was great in those days
