Every now and then I get fans telling me how jealous they are that I get paid to do fun things like get messy on video. I do love my work but I think if people realized just how intense making messy videos are they might not want to do them professionally. Recently I did a very fun quicksand shoot with Elvira Bella Morte and wanted to share some behind the scenes photos so people can get a better idea what it's like to shoot outdoor scenes.

We used this lovely location that a fan showed me. It's about 1.5 hrs away from where I live which is the closest location I could find. There are lots of muddy locations closer to me but none with enough privacy to actually do any filming.

At one point we had to take a break from filming because Elvira splashed some mud in her eye. Being able to see is kinda important when you are struggling in a mud pit.

I can't physically do this work myself so I always need an assistant on hand to help carry things to the site and pull models out of the mud if needed. And for some reason my assistant was a tick magnet. In between shoots I was pulling ticks off his clothes which wasn't fun because those things creep me out.

We shot 3 scenes that day so in between scenes I helped Elvira clean the mud off. We have to bring bottles of water with us & lots of towels. This is probably my least favorite part of shooting because the mud is so thick it's just a pain to clean off.

For the last scene Elvira did a submergence so I had to help her clean her face before she could even get out of the mud.

As challenging as it is to shoot outdoors the results can be really great. This location is beautiful and the mud is so thick and dark so it comes out well on camera. The first scene from this shoot is now up on http://clips4sale.com/damsels-in-distress-didvp and will eventually be on umd as well.

Great behind-the-scenes story. Nice to know the highs and lows of doing this. (Ticks are no fun)

I definitely don't want your job, Leila. I DO want you to fall in the mud in that sexy outfit though!

Looking at those photos, I'm not sure if its put people off wanting your job!

I'm not trying to persuade anyone to not produce wam but I think it's good for the community as a whole to understand just how much work really goes into these shoots. I love getting messy and making videos but for awhile now it's been frustrating how often I have to address piracy issues on youtube and similar sites. I figure that if people knew how costly (in time & money) it is to produce videos maybe they wouldn't be inclined to steal as much.

I think if you were to dress Elvira and Elana in pirate costumes and make them crawl around in that nasty muck until they're totally covered in it from head to toe, that would be an excellent way to get this important message across, Leila.

If i ever get in the mood to play again you should tell me where that mud is.

I do not want any of the producers' jobs. I've done some big scenes of my own, by myself and with my Domme at the time, and know how much work went into those... and that was just us fucking around in private. No videos that are going to need editting, no worrying about angles, no worrying about getting caught, etc.

Hell, we had the giant plastic tub I use occasionally full of probably 200 lbs of... stuff (after it absorbed a fair amount of water) that needed dumped once cause it would clog the tub. We got to wait til night to make it disappear and let nature take care of the contents because I weigh 140 lbs soaking wet and so couldn't move that by myself. And that is still minor compared to some of the scenes the people that produce videos on here have done.

All the producers get my respect for what they do. Yes, they enjoy the job or they wouldn't be doing it, but it is also a ton of work.

I can't wait to see the rest of the Elvira videos. I'm thrilled that she is back as she is one sexy lady. I would have loved to be the assistant to pull her out of the mud, minus the ticks of course
