Think this may have been asked before. I am looking at an upcoming session, and have not used slime in my sessions before. I like the thicker cake batter visually, Just worried about the cleanup with it, or do you use the oil as listed on the package? What are some recipes for a med-thick slime that is relatively easy to clean up? How long before the session should it be mixed? How long do you have to use it? Thanks for any assist..
I don't add any of the other things such as oil when I mix up my cake batter slime or pie filling. I just start with 2 cups water to 2 mixes and add more as needed. As for clean up it just washes away easily with warm water. I also like adding a can of warmed frosting to the mix to color it. Also makes it a bit thicker. You can mix in cool whip and other things like strawberry syrup or marshmallow fluff to change the consistency of your slime making it thicker and sticky too. Basic sticky slime recipe, 4 tubs cool whip, 2 cups water, 2 large tubs marshmallow fluff, and 2 cans frosting. Mix thoroughly in a bucket using a whisk to ensure it's all combined add more water as needed. If you want chunky slime, mix instant oats with hot water till combined, less water makes it thicker add some food coloring or a can of frosting for colored chunky slime. Make sure to LET IT COOL and keep mixing to cool the mixture if you use HOT water as oatmeal will hold its temp for a decent amount of time. If you want a different texture or feel instead of cake batter try using instant pudding mixing with just water instead of milk. It is a smooth thicker texture and generally is great for cold slime. If you have any other questions just send me a message or reply here I am happy to share any info I have.

Messypup and cakemix are really cool to use especially with warm water and how thick or thin you want it

My recipe: 6lb cake flour 3lb 6oz sugar add 5 cups of oil, 1.5 quarts of water, and go from there while mixing to get the desired thickness or consistency I try to let it sit for about 30 minutes and then adjust by adding more water because I feel like it thickens up just a bit. For color I use kid friendly tempera paint. Others use food coloring and have made it work without staining, but I stick with this because I wear normal stuff I'd go to work or out in.
That's usually good for about 2.5 to 2.75 gallons of cake batter. Cleanup is simple, works best with cool water. The pics are how it all comes out
