Is it the much anticipated Wonder Woman v Supergirl battle? Is it a takedown of the super-dark DC Comics universe? Is it a spot-on recreation of a certain Canadian comedy series, done on zero budget? YES!
For those looking for the upshot to COVID-19: I've been sitting on this footage for a WHILE, wondering when I'd have the time to devote to editing this whole thing. So, thanks Corona for giving me 40+ hours of free time to spend (waste?) on finally completing this! It's not perfect (note to self: Buy BLUE screen background, not green).... but it ain't half bad. AND it's fully edited now in the stores! HD.SlapstickStuff.com SlapstickStuff.vidown.com
If you want to see all the work that went into this (or, you know, any of the wide angle), you can also get unedited footage here. And yes, buying the "Complete" gets you the edit for free. RAWHD.SlapstickStuff.com
I won't be doing another one like this for a looooong while, so enjoy!
One of the brilliant little things in some of Rich's videos is Bre's reaction when her partner-in-slime gets the mess first. She always seems to think it is the most hilarious thing that has ever happened - even though she is going to get the same, and probably more, in turn.
All this AND you get to "amortize" the cost of that Wonder Woman costume between TWO videos now. Seeing Bre almost in it is a treat. (Super Girl from a much-earlier shoot?)
YCDTOTV was after my time, but I definitely remember fantasizing about Wonder Woman, Super Gir, Betty and Veronica and others getting hit by pies. Thank you for bringing a few of those fantasies to life.

Hold up, are you saying Rich did a Betty and Veronica skit in one of his volumes? If so, someone please point me to it! If not, how has no producer ever done a Betty and Veronica skit before? Inquiring minds need to know!!!

Congratulations, Rich, you've caught up to MostWam circa 2008.
To be fair, it *is* a timeless trope, and you've achieved it in glorious high-def.
Most Wam had a practical YCDTOTV set with the blue plastic while Rich went all green screen. You might say he went all Phantom Menace-y on Mostwam's Empire Strikes Back. And we all know which movie people loved more.......
But seriously, this looks great! No tits, but still I will have to check this one out. Bree is certainly no Jar Jar Binks!

Even back in 2008, pretty sure MostWAM's budget was about 10 times more than mine. Believe me, if I had the space (and money) to bring in 5 models at the same time, I could've spent a little extra dough on creating a true YCDTOTV set from scratch. The green screen is a workaround... It's not my preferred method.
Like the Wonder Woman scene from 2017, this one was shot quickly and cheaply, but with a similar saving grace: I try REALLY hard to replicate the "essence" of what I'm parodying. That's the shit that takes time, not money. I don't have the means (or motivation) to pull off a huge production, but I AM willing to spend 12 hours on a Sunday figuring out how to replicate the original YCDTOTV credits frame-for-frame... but using Batman instead of Les Lye.
That said, I don't know if any of those little non-WAM touches matter to anyone besides me. I'd like to think they do. I know the MadLoverJoker folks and PieZone both subscribe to a similar, detail-oriented aesthetic in their work. But I've also seen my own numbers. There are LOTS of simple-as-all-getout scenes that sell great.... and scenes where I've killed myself in the editing for no reason at all.
Anyway, if this does amazing, I might return to the YCDTOTV well soon. Or.... not. Cute model + boring-ass red backdrop seems to appeal to just as many people with about 1/10th the effort on my end.

No,no. I said I had fantasies about Betty and Veronica in a pie fight. But at least one of the "Archie" comic books did have one: It was about the time Soupy Sales was getting national attention (anybody got a clip of the "Hullabaloo" he hosted with a few pies in the closing moments?), and Archie, Betty, Veronica and others had their own pie fight. Quite a few pages. And the girls got clobbered.

and I would also like to acknowledge that my Divas did this about two Halloweens ago. https://umd.net/profile/i/twilight-man/section/photos/album/happy-wammerween-2 Oh well, Thank you anyway, Rich. Obviously, many of us here at the forum want to see hot-looking super-heroines getting humiliated with lots of pies and slime.

You're talking about Ashley waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy back in Volume 52, right???? https://www.slapstickstuff.com/SS52.htm Once again, a "masterpiece" of film-making from Rich. He briefly created a split-screen, so you could see "both" Ashleys on screen at once.
If you look carefully, the belt is not the same, among other things. What happened to the old outfit, Rich????
Anyway, fantastic job once again, Rich!!! It's great to see Bre as "Wonder Wammer" once again!!!
I'm repeating this crucial question (crucial to me, anyway, maybe nobody else) because it got lost in the shuffle. Is there Betty and Veronica WAM out there somewhere, from Rich or anyone else? Please somebody, if so, point me to it!
Yes, I did use Supergirl WAAAAAY back in SS52. (Did I beat MostWAM on this? Who knows? Who cares?!?) It was actually one of my worst sellers at the time. Pretty sure it scared me off doing cosplay scenes for a LONG time afterwards. (I definitely got rid of the original costume.) I talked to that amazing DeviantArt artist co4 about collaborating in.... 2009 maybe? He was gonna help me find some really authentic costumes, and also draw some backgrounds for me. We were planning to do live-action versions of scenes like this. (Jen was down to be Batgirl!) Then, he disappeared.... I later found out he passed away. That sucked pretty hard. ANYWAY, the MadLoverJoker folks seem to have filled the void for cosplay WAM, and that's good.
PR, I've never done a Betty & Veronica scene. I feel like SOMEONE must have, but I dunno who. TBH it would be tricky to make it more than a generic "brunette vs. blonde tit-for-tat" scene. I guess you could try to replicate the outfits from the comics, or their particular character traits, but it's not like either one has a specific "uniform" or catch phrase.

Tight sweaters! Plus Veronica always appeared more "made up" and Betty was "the girl next door."
And when I began to notice the tight sweaters, it was time to give up comics and find out where my father had stashed the Playboy magazines!
