We've heard a lot about this Messy Event in Vegas and are wondering what it's like. Seeing as we've never been we'd love some advice and suggests as to what to do and what to bring. Also
I went to UMD 20 in 2018. First off, don't think of it as a "messy event", while I think a few folk are planning on laying stuff on, and did last time, the main point of it was just an amazing chance to meet and hang out with like-minded people in a truly amazing place.
Vegas is fabulous, make sure to allow time to explore and experience it. Friday and I were there nine nights and still only scrached the surface of everything it had to offer, it's one of *the* global destinations, everyone should go there at least once.
We can't afford a delegation this time, but 2018 was a truly mindblowing experience.

Everything DM1 said. I didn't so much as get whipped cream on my nose, and the closed thing to wetlook was taking normal showers. This itself is not a messy event. Rather, other people that went, set up their own private and/or public events. Honestly, I wasn't even aware of most of them until after the fact.
The only "official" if you want to even call it that events were just a meet and greet at the Whiskey Licker, and then hanging out at the nugget pool the next day. Everything else, we were on our own.
The first time I went was to make friends. This time it's to see some again, and hopefully make some new ones.

Great to think about. It would be super fun if we could set up in a suite or something maybe even set up the mud wrestling pit or would that be too ambitious.

Please do consider, even if just to network and meet people. Granted, if the weather is right, there might be some mud to be had out at Lake Mead. Fingies crossed!
If not, get a nice inflatable pool and some chocolate pudding, similar look.
