Yeah, I know the odds aren't that great that there is anyone on here who's in or near this area and wanting to get a new place, but I figured even if there's only a tiny chance, it's better than nothing.
Long story short; I had to leave my previous apartment and move back in with my parents due to my roommate bailing on me, so I'm stuck at the moment. I've been trying to find an affordable studio or one-bedroom place, but that's proving quite difficult.
So, I figured I'd toss my hat in here and see if there are any WAM Enthusiasts either in or interesting in moving to Louisville who'd want to meet up and see about becoming future roommates and getting a 2-bedroom place. Note this is not a situation where I have a place already and just need somebody to move in; it would be both of us deciding on a place together and moving in at the same time. There are lots of nice places that have 2-bedrooms from $600-$800/mo depending on where you look. I won't delve too much into all the nitty gritty details right away, as I'm sure there aren't that many people interested, so those that are will hopefully contact me and we can discuss details as we go along and see if we're a good fit to become housemates.
General Criteria: - Either male or female is acceptable. - Must be responsible for their part of rent/bills (have a job, etc). - Non smoking is a must. - Would prefer someone with good at-home-habits in terms of keeping their personal pace clean, not letting trash or dishes pile up, etc. Common courtesy and etiquette.
So that's about the gist of things for now. I'll delete this post if I find myself a place. Again I know the odds of finding somebody with a similar situation ready to get their own place in this 1 specific area are pretty low, but I gotta try. Plus, how awesome would it be to live with a fellow WAM enthusiast? :p
