Ever since I saw Safeway's beautiful looking bakery pies, I've wanted to treat myself with them someday.
I haven't found time to get messy at all for the last maybe 6 months. Should I go for it? Which of their pies should I try first? Anybody have experience or tips specifically for their pies?
have not bought any safeway pies but have used chef Pierre and as always its a good idea to let them thaw for several hours or overnight, getting a frozen pie to the face is a painful lesson and could end up with abrasions or cuts, a finger test is a good indication that the pie is completely thawed in the center. If your finger or like a spoon handle can be pushed straight into the center with ease then its thawed.
We used some from them but don't remember which of these had Safeway bakery or Marie callenders? Several had both but one maybe two only had Marie callenders
