I was chatting with Platypus539 (probably better known as CheekyLuna's husband ) about stumbling on deals for WAM supplies. Andi and I were at the grocery store and stumbled on some pie crusts on clearance for 99 cents (about 1/3 of the price we usually pay). Granted they are near expiration date, but still plenty fine for our purposes Wondering what great deals others have stumbled on purely by chance??
There's a rural grocery store we go to from time to time, and they sell alot of bulk items, we've stumbled upon expired big cans of pudding and or pie filling with some as low as two dollars, we all hit up any store that's going out of business , not to mention special holiday cookie and cake mixes go on sale after said holiday.
But my junior year of college we had to stay back for a week after exams for sports stuff. Walked by our campus knockoff Starbucks as they were closing for break and the cashier who I had partied with a couple times literally told me to just grab anything I wanted and I proceeded to live off of Smuckers, breakfast sandwiches, and protein snack boxes for 5 days.
Everytime I go to to the market, I check this section, It's involuntary haha. I found one time mayo almost free. The bag with 3kg was just 90 cents. I bought 6 bags.
