I don't know about that, Rich. Disney has said that there will be a major pie fight in The Last Jedi. It will be between Rey and Jyn's Force Ghost.

A Mary Sue is a character who is fully-formed from the start of the story.

Oh jeez, can we not have the Mary Sue thing here? It's total BS - Rey is good at certain things to begin with - staff combat (and notice at the end she uses her newly-acquired saber *like* a staff) and flying things (just as any man is good at shooting and driving in most action films, without us needing to see him acquire those skills), and learns to become better at others - crucially mastering her own self-doubt and conquering her fear of abandonment. The Mary Sue thing started because Max Landis is a jack-ass - who incidentally can't write a decent female character to save his fucking life.

As far as the vote - the fictional thing is weird. I'd vote Ridley IRL, but both are gorgeous.

They're both gorgeous, but to me Jyn's head would just look better slathered in cream and sauces. Cheekbones, untidy hair, wide eyes...

Daisy Ridley also has a resemblance to one of my favourite musicians, who I just couldn't bring myself to pie.
