The Conservatives announced that if elected they will reduce immigration in all groups. They have been very successful with immigration so far at appeasing those worried about immigration but avoiding any detailed discussions on the matters. I am British and my family is affected by the new rules on family immigration. I've yet to meet another British person who knew about these rules.
May's reluctance to join a TV debate and her instance on pre-vetting all questions on TV appearances before the election mean she may yet again get to voting day without the electorate knowing what they are voting for.
Any British person married to somebody not yet British must within a 30-day windows show that they are currently employed, earning more than £18,600 a year and have had that salary for a long time. Between jobs? Tough. On minimum wage, never been on benefits and never plan to be, tough, get out. Separated families are encouraged to either leave the UK forever or to stay apart while the British person obtains 6-months worth of salary payments. Lots of British children have become separated from their parents because of these rules. The media has recently suggested the Tories will raise this threshold even higher. Nobody knows why they are doing it because those in this situation are not allowed benefit payments anyway.
This means if it went through parliament by convention the lords would wave it though. Last time Teressa May just did it without consulting parliament.
Nobody knows how high the threshold will be but we're anticipating thousands of families will be effected. Many are already separated attempting to get the six UK payslips required to request to live together at home again.

Remember the conservatives pledged to make the above situation even worse and Labour pledged to scrap the minimum income requirement for married couples.
The Conservatives also appear to wish to continue to let UK money drain into tax havens and to continue sell weapons and do business with the Saudi's despite their funding of terrorism.

Remember that for every Tory voter you convince to vote Labour you reduce the Tory majority in that constituency by 2!
