"question for mud customers! :) thanks for reading, in advance :)"

kaaayyyy, so I gots mud material. We have found that holding on to outdoor mud material? does not sell very well later on in the year...
I feel like all of our "mud monsters" stick around, this time of year....when the mud season is almost over and we are all releasing our mud stuff from summer! Is this true? mud days are so fun but cost us a LOT. a lot for camera guys, a lot of risks, a lot of traveling and when we do these? I want to make sure that my scenes get hour in the sun they deserve and YOU mud people? can find them!
so? release nothing but mud until im out of my mud content? or? mix it up?? I usually only release one video a week. bc of the overwhelming response to my last mud video? i did not release this week. Also, bc I have had a lot of family stuff going on that has been extremely hard....I had to work and updating just wasnt in the cards.
so! lemme know, my mud people! should I just release all my mud stuff? once a week until its gone? or spread it around?

I would like to say for me I would do 2 mud then 1 of any other type of video wet or messy. Now that being said it's hard for me to write this cause due to stupid covid I have not had the privilege to purchase any material even thro I love seeing the adventures you get into. I understand the dilemma with this and all the hard work you do ( myself being a video editor) taking care of your adventures properly. I wish you luck in making your choice.

At the end of the day, you need to focus on sales when they matter most, especially if you could use all the help you can get right now!

On the flip side, for people unfamiliar with the subject and what all goes into one, I could see doing it with a real pro like you or Ariel could be very enlightening!

we have and I know ariel has done one before, i think. the places I have gone? there is no way I would feel comfortable having anyone hike down there with me. scaling those walls of literal WOODS thorns and poison ivy, oak, sumac.....and then sliding down about a 13 or 14 foot wall of slick ass mud...after basically tumbling down a vertical wooded glen. lol. Ariel usually finds spots on the river and has access to a boat. So, her doing them is more likely. I hope we can do some next year
They would have to be at her locale BUT ALSO. we can NEVER determine whether or not mud will be exactly as it was. its mud. its like the weather. we cant control it. so.....it would have to be a thing where if the mud wasnt what they wanted they would be okay with doing something else.There isn’t a mess I don’t love!
It sounds like it's worth a try to release a few mud videos closer together and see what the results are. I don't know how many videos you normally release between two videos of the same style, but reduce the number. If that means releasing two mud videos back-to-back, give it a try once and see what happens. If the second video doesn't sell, you know that didn't work and it only took one video to figure it out. At worst it probably still sells about the same as it would have "out of season".

Ok, but I'm holding you girls to that! I'm just now starting to get out of my comfort zone, so Get Well Soon, ok? I've been a fan of yours for quite some time and would love the oppritunity to get messy with you once you're feeling better.
I think your material is amazing and goes someway to fill the gaps left by MPV taking to a quieter life. I'm personally am gutted that Mud vids dry up over the winter. To me it gives me a ray of summer that the dark cold days mean, mud season seems a lifetime away. So my vote would be to spread them out over the winter. I appreciate that you need to do the most lucrative thing for you!

I APPRECIATE THAT! that people understand that while i DO LOVE getting messy and playing? that this is my ONLY means of living. I DO have to have the money to make these things happen. mud is not "FREE" supplies. lol. i have had that said to me many times. it is having your car detailed, it is smelling like mud for days, it is having to have your hair done, it is hiring camera guys, paying for gas, ruining clothes, etc. it is SO FUN but it DOES cost money to do

yeah, the mud bundles i created? seemed to be something people liked. I did not create those for YEARS after they were released though. I probably wont create another bundle for a while.
until I have a few years worth of mud content to release.

In my case, I'm just poor right now because of the storm damage.
