I have many of your videos but the HD where I keep my WAM files (2 TB!) is almost full. I've actually deleted some stuff (altho I often get distracted while reviewing old videos)

How much more space do the upgraded SS videos take? a third more? Double the space?

Most of them are a lot bigger due to being expanded, so I'd say 4-5X the size??!?

At the same time, it's only about 100MB more per clip, which is fairly small in today's world.

My recommendation would be to upgrade to a 4TB extrernal drive.... They're under $100 these days!

I would suggest TWO 4TB external drives; the second one for backup.

For even more safety, I have three drives for my WAM files - one for the original files, one for backup copies, and one which is normally kept off-site for a second set of backup copies.

I bought two 5 TB drives, about $109 each.
