I"ve noticed over the years that some producers stick to the same scenarios where only the model is different. For example, they may use a wading pool full of clay and have the girl roll around in it, or the girl may be sitting or standing and covered with marshmallow goo. But EVERY marshmallow goo shoot is done the same way, as is EVERY clay shoot. When asked about this, some producers will say it's a 'tried and true formula' that people will buy, and if I want to see anything different, I should order a custom. But I'm not asking for anything specific, other than changing things up more. For example, the producer above could really change things up by filling the paddling pool with marshmallow goo, something they've not done. The model could pretend to fall in, or just slide in sensuously. Even with the clay in the pool, the entrance is always the same, never a fake 'fall' into the pool.

With pies, it's even more predictable. 90% of pies hit the face, which is what most people want to see. The other 10% hit the boobs or the rear, and sometimes the front of the crotch. ALWAYS in those same exact spots. But what about a surprise pie hit somewhere unexpected?

Then there is gunge or slime. It is generally dumped from above, but what about hitting a model with a bucket of slime onto the front of her body? It would get a better reaction and provide better coverage, but other than on some TV shows, it is not something we often see in WAM productions.

Now there are a few very inventive producers who have created sets that deliver mess in unique ways. Or, they have used substances in huge quantities or unique ways. This is awesome and I hope you keep it up.

But to those producers who just keep on doing the same thing over and over again, why not try something different? You're 'tried and true' formulas are getting a bit tired. Why not venture outside of your comfort zone just a little? Can't afford expensive new sets? How about taking an industrial-sized plastic garbage bag, get the model to go inside, then fill it with the mess? Or get a slide and put a paddling pool at the bottom, filled with mess, and have a nicely dressed model go for a slide? You could even coat the slide in whipped cream. I'm sure the community here would be full of ideas you could use.

I just felt I had to mention this - the repeated scenario I've seen done again and again . . . and again. . . to the point where 1. I already know what's going to happen and 2. I already know how the model will react. I want to buy a scene where I haven't any idea of the mess, how it will be applied, or how the girl will react.

I can see where you're coming from. I tend to be a purist in that I appreciate the pie going in the woman's face and the slime being poured on her head, but I definitely appreciate the creative scenarios that some producers have recently devised.

As for the creative pie hit you mentioned above, my library is huge because it costs me nothing to save purchased videos to a hard drive. The only reason I've ever deleted videos - and I I've deleted 2 in almost 20 years - was because 1) a table full of pies was delivered to a beautiful woman's shoulders and forearms and 2) a beautiful bucket of blue slime was poured right on a gorgeous model's back. In each situation they then rubbed it all around so that the model looked like she had done a full coverage shoot and used those pictures to sell the video.

The implication being that they had been "pied" and "slimed" in the traditional sense. I'd only ask those who do decide to get creative with their mess to be forthcoming in the description so that us traditionalists can opt out. It's not "pies" for some of us, it's "pies in the face", just like the definition of the verb "slimed" denotes "the pouring of a thick, gooey substance over the head", not being squirted or splashed with green water.

Funny enough, the reason I haven't bought anything in so long is because it seems like so many producers are doing exactly what you described, to me at least. Interesting how we all see the same thing differently.

If you can't find anything surprising, or that you don't feel are totally predictable, you might not be looking in the right places. There are quite a few active producers doing very different stuff. You also listed a handful of ideas and suggestions for other people to use. If you're looking for something specific, done in a specific way, then yeah, get a custom scene...

Not my intention to offend, but it seems like your issue might be with specific producers, yet you're making kind of broad accusations of staleness. Doesn't really represent the community as a whole.

I have noticed one not uncommon thing where many of the pies are thrown at the face from a short distance, but the pies for the boobs are nearly always applied, often with a sneaky thumb or fingertip to the boob, which makes me wonder if boobs are more of a motivation than mess for some people.

I think about 90% of the stuff we see now seems to be filmed in the same room. This was the case a few years ago with a different room, and in-between, we briefly had two rooms, but now it's down to one.

Could it just be that you've already seen the existing scene, so the new one doesn't seem new?

Now, I could buy a larger, more complicated, superior lego set, but it wouldn't capture the same feeling because I am older and have already built a ton of lego sets.

I feel it's the same with this stuff. When I first saw certain fetish stuff my eyes virtually popped out of my head, but now that I've already seen it, it's not as epic to me.

I would suggest getting customs since it's fun, or avoiding messy stuff for a month and them coming back and seeing all the new stuff.

Man, that is SO true. And, not the exact way I'd want it. And, I think the way I'd want it could save them on material, if they made efficient use of the material.

I am one of those weird guys who wants to see -- in a pie video-- 90% pies in the face. Tried and true-- like you said. For example, I loved Splosh, but they were big on pies being distributed evenly across the body, which I always found frustrating.
As a pie fan, you can always tell producers who come in from other fetishes and think making money on this fetish is easy. Most guys love hot, naked bodies, right? Easy. So you see a lot of whipped cream sprayed on bodies and pies applied all over the body and a stray to the face. Moreover, the women are acting like they are in ecstasy from the experience. If that is your thing, more power to you and I respect that, but I have a fetish-- a weird fetish-- I like to see cute girls pied in the face.

I am aware that some wammers prefer the 'pie in the face' scenario with little or no interest in pies being applied anywhere else. That, in and of itself, is a unique proven formula that a large number of people like.

I am not talking about custom scenes to cater to a specific sub-fetish or preference either, just what appears to be a lack of imagination on the part of SOME producers. The majority of producers mix things up or try new scenarios, and it keeps the 'what's going to happen' element alive.

But when a girl is sitting on a plastic chair, with the entire background covered in plastic, and a person standing behind her, we can guess that the person behind her is carrying a bucket of slime, ready to pour over her head.

But what if she were on a lawn chair outside? The bucket of slime could be tossed at her rather than gently poured. That would make for more coverage. She could even be tipped off of the chair to land in the slime-coated grass. Lots of possibilities here, and nothing specific that would require a custom - just some imagination used before the actual shoot. But no, I guess it's easier for some to just keep doing the same old thing. Girl in chair. Slime over head. Lots hits her head and misses her body. The result is slimed hair and legs, slimy chair and a puddle on a plastic tarp. Change girl. Repeat. For years. Boring.
