Has anybody else noticed that changing your profile pic can take days to update in certain parts of the site?

I have been trying to understand what causes this but if anybody else has some input that would be greatly appreciated.

I have never noticed that before. I don't regularly change mine though. MM is probably the only person that will have any idea though.

Member: They point to two different url's(6:35pm)
Me: If you go to 'edit profile', you can select your profile pic(6:36pm)
Member: So ultimately, it worked the first time I tried it, but I have to then go to edit profile and hit save without actually changing anything.(7:26pm)
Me: What worked first time?(7:35pm)
Member: I just viewed the photo in my gallery and hit the make profile pic link(8:02pm)
Member: It worked here, the profile edit page showed it OK, but it appeared blank elsewhere until I went back to edit profile and hit save(8:02pm)
Me: Ah, gotcha(8:09pm)
Me: I believe any and all profile changes have to be saved to take effect(8:16pm)"

"Ah, that's probably true. I added that link for convenience years ago and never added a cache dump to the function Fixing that now."

Yes was actually thinking it would be a cool feature for you be to be able to have a new profile picture every time you log in from an album of your choice that rotates with each log in.
