This is probably a scam, but I saw this post on craigslist and I applied. If it actually is not a scam, it would be awesome because you could get extremely messy and a free trip to LA.

Total mugging - don't even log on to such crap

The DOB request concerns me, especially in an initial solitication. Also, legitimate talent/contestant search companies usually provide either more information about themselves, the production company behind the show, etc., because that's free advertising and also provides some legitimacy.

Although I will say it's an interesting niche segment to target if it is a scam!
