The latest release from Langstonedale: Mud and Water is now live in the Members Lounge, and sees our wild French librarian Isabeau, and the lovely Lady Jennifer, both dressed in beautiful shimmering princess-style satin ballgowns, throwing themselves into the riverbank mudbanks!

Thanks! We are very lucky to have both enthusiastic mud people and some wonderful mud for them to play in.

Cool! Glad you like them. The girls start off with wellies under the dresses, mainly because of all the thistles crossing the field, but they lose those within the first minute or so and do the whole rest of the scene barefoot. We figured "barefoot princesses" has a nice kind of feel to it, and they both loved the feel of the mud between their toes, it's eminently squishable.

Believe it or not, charity shop loot. We go round the charity shops in various different places quite regularly, you eventually get a feel for what kind of clothes any given area is most likely to produce. Posh, monneyed areas tend to have high quality M&S or similar, lots of smart businesswear. Poorer areas will often have more fast fashion. Seaside resorts can be an absolute treasure-trove of fancier "dressing up" type stuff. Then again, I once found a Cancer Research shop that had latex, leather, and bondage gear - in the middle of West London!
As you can see from the pic below, both dresses muddied-up beautifully!
