It doesn't really matter to me 
. I've purchased some videos where the man and woman get messy together that were quite enjoyable. MostWam Al and Sky are great examples of that. If it's fun and maybe even a little naughty, I enjoy it. I'm just not into the full on sex with wam stuff.

I voted doesn't matter. When I first started watching SStuff years back I didn't see who the guy was for ages apart from his hand then when I saw Rich in a clip I was like ah ok this is the guy with the throwing skills. I liked it
Similarly I finally got to see DM1 in a messy post and a privately shared pic of Boxter2 my close friend. I do realise that sometimes people want to stay anonymous but I really like to put a face to a name. I like to see the guy first delivering the mess clean especially if they are a couple and then maybe progress on to him joining in helping rub that mess in and then the girl make him messy by hugging him ect.

Mostly I'd say it doesn't matter, only thing is if a man is getting messy in a scene he should at least make some effort clothing wise, to match the women. So if they're in say jeans and wellies, he should be too, not some hideous pair of shorts and nasty old sandals that were obviously only picked so they could be thrown away afterwards.

The early days of this forum were very female model focussed, so images and ideas, picture sets and video scenes predominantly portrayed a fantasy world of messy women in which men didn't exist. I remember someone grumbling to Neil Edwards (Piefightgirls) that they were sick of seeing his 'hairy arms' in scenes.
When I started sharing media of my original partner there was no question that I would stay out of the way in anything destined for show. But it soon became apparent that me being the woman I was messing up's genuine other half was actually a draw for some of the audience. For many because this was a fantasy for them - the idea of being in a couple that played these games. In our case she getting dressed up and then 'submitting' to this terrible messing we knowing all the time she could walk away but chose not to.
I've no interest in seeing men get messy and not a great deal interested in getting messy myself but I can always put myself in the place of the protagonist in that role playing power game.
My view is that it really doesn't matter who's in the scene as long as they're relevant to the narrative of the fantasy.

Definitely agree DungeonMasterOne. They guys need to dress up or undress down to match the women. So nice dress means dress pants and shirt, maybe even suit and tie. Bikini needs a swimsuit (and not those shorts which go down almost all the way to the knee).

For me, WAM material is my porn. I don't prefer to see males. It would be like opening a centerfold in a magazine and wondering why there is a guy in the scene with the model. I'm noticing more and more males getting messy, or at least being in scenes, and I personally don't care for it much. Rich is OK because he never comes on to the ladies or acts badly, but some producers treat the models like strippers, cat-calling, and generally talking down to them. (these are older videos) If any interactions are to happen, I'd prefer them to be girl-girl or at least a guy acting respectfully. We're not there to see the guy, and if the guy realizes this and acts accordingly, I can put up with a bit of male content.
I want to see more male x female wam scenes, and in honesty a little sad that there aren't much more. I'm straight, but it's because of that that I love to visibly see men messing up girls, or vice versa, and getting just as naked and humiliated as them, because I can project in to the guy, and it's really hot, in the same way that all straight porn needs both men and women for it to work, the same applies here imo. And since I want to see more males with females, I like when it gets sexual or the sexual tension builds up to the point of having sex, and the emphasis on humiliation and embarrassment and domination by getting messed up Or messing up the opposite sex. A big turn on for me.
I think if a guy is going to appear, there needs to be a running gag that the guy always stays clean and the girl gets it instead. Maybe even the girls acknowledging the guy never gets slimed, and that they're always trying to trick him into getting slimed, but it never works in their favor
My favorite shows like YCDTOTV, Chega Mais, and the reality shows from South America, like Esto Es Guerra, were my favorites because of the quantity of mess, but i just hated it when the male got messy instead of the female.

If man and woman messy that is fine, if focussed on women, men should be less visible. I probably answered the poll wrong, if part of a man or the voice of a man happens to be heard occasionally that is OK, if the man/woman conversation is part of the overall female messy video also good to hear the man, especially if husband/wife or partners/in a relationship, that adds an extra dimension.
Hey! Since I've been mentioned a couple times in this thread, just my two cents:
1) I never planned to be "in" the videos. It just kinda happened. I wanted to capture the feeling of watching a mainstream scene where the female gets messy, and that seemed to require her having a scene "partner," i.e. someone to exchange lines and interact with her. And, you know, hit her with pies as well.
I'd seen some videos with the model solo, usually ad-libbing to the camera while getting pies from off-screen or pieing herself, and often smoking. (In hindsight, these were all Lenny Sorge customs.) That didn't really interest me. I wanted to include the comic element and that seemed impossible without another person to bounce off the model.
2) In hindsight, maybe I should've gone the Robby/Neil route and stayed off-camera. Or tried to find a second female to read the lines and be the "scene partner." But I didn't know anyone who could fill that role, plus I was too lazy/cheap to recruit one. So eventually me in the scenes became a weird part of the SlapstickStuff "aesthetic." FBOW, the stupid characters in wigs.... or the vindictive waiter... or the cheesy announcer making life miserable for the latest female contestant.... Those are all baked into SlapstickStuff at this point.
3) I'm now well aware that my presence in the vids definitely ruins them for some. (Believe it or not, it took me many years before I heard this feedback. There was a LOT less producer material in 2004 and I think people were willing to overlook some things.) I'm not sure it's noticeable, but I've definitely TRIED to keep myself off-camera as much as possible in the last few years. (Not my voice, but my physical presence.) Or I'll appear only when it's necessary to the scene. (Waiter, masked bandit, etc) And I have a new 2-girl scene coming soon where you won't hopefully hear or see me at all, at least in the edit. Baby steps!
4) Now that I've apologized for showing up too much, I do have to mention that those SS188 clips where the model dragged me into the shot (not planned) were some of my best sellers. Tipping it fully into "coed pie play" hit a different audience, I suspect.
I'm not ruling out future scenes like that, providing I find the right model. But most of the present clips when I'm on screen getting messy are more planned, and deliberately staged so the girl starts (and stays) 100% clean. And if you don't like that content, it's easy to ignore!
5) Spoiler: I've FaceTimed with both the Man, and the Wife. And you're both very lovely people! I don't think you'll get a real consensus with this poll, so here's my personal take: Your couple dynamic is fun and genuine, and featuring that on camera should only increase your audience. (Providing the Man is OK getting as messy as the Wife!)

I voted Doesn't Matter because I love to see a connection between a guy and a girl getting messy. WAM for me is about the feeling, so I can relate to that regardless of who's getting messy. If she tips mess in his pants, I'll know it must have felt amazing for him.
That said, as a straight male, I don't find men half as attractive to look at as women, so it's nicer to see the girls getting messy.

Rich's videos and some of the WAMerica videos are excellent for this, as well as some of the older ones from MessyFun and Tracy Z.

Well, I really like it when you appear, because I like it when it's visible when a man is pieing and sliming a woman and vice versa. Maybe thats also because I like coed, lol.
I voted 'he has to get messy' but totally missed the 'doesn't matter' option. Personally love a scene where a couple with a connection get messy, especially if there's an element of getting your own back. That concept they both know what being gunged feels like, enjoying a scene with a loving partner. If there's a sexy connection between the two, the mess is just that little bit extra special. Not suggesting scenes become a sex-fest because mess and gunge has to be the focus. Sorry not sorry The Man, but next time after you've gunged The Wife with your glorious thick colourful slime, it's only fair she immediately gets to get you back hehe.

Having read Rich's reply, I now realize why I'm basically OK with him in scenes.
1. SS scenes are sexy as hell, but not 'sexual' in that there is no sexual touching, moaning, etc. going on. If there were, I would definitely not like to see a guy getting involved.
2. Rich, you are very 'generic' in your approach. What I mean by that is you are like a professional TV director or host, you wouldn't stare at a model's boobs and make a comment, you tend to make eye contact all the time and are respectful. You're not being 'Mr. Ego' either, with some stupid attitude that some guys seem to feel the need to express.
3. Rich, your appearances when mess is involved are truly of a slapstick nature. Again, it would bother me if it was more sexual, or if you started removing clothing, etc.

I agree with Bobographer's entire message, but especially the line I quoted. I'd PREFER there be no guys in the scene at all, but I can accept that, and even guys getting pied, as long as they're not the focus of the scene.
As for "Where do the pies come from if there's no one seen or heard?" I've always been a mystery of the surprise flying pie, coming out of nowhere.
It seems to depend on whether I'm in a 'top' or 'bottom' mood. Most of the time I look for women-only or lesbian stuff, sometimes I go for co-ed stuff if there's good chemistry, but sometimes I'll actively look for material featuring only one man getting plastered.
I've picked "doesn't matter" cos generally other things like outfits, setup and joyfulness of the product tend to make more of a difference. That being said, I really dig a good co-ed scene done well cos.... well im bi but also it can be quite unique and allows for some new situations to develop in a scene.
In other words i aint too picky with gender (I'm not gonna plague you with my half thought-out out musings on gender and my own relation to it) but some variety always goes a long way with WAM so, fuck it, more the merrier innit.

I enjoy seeing women get messy. But I also really like co-ed scenes especially if there's nudity or sex involved. It has nothing to do with seeing the guy get messy itself, its seeing the girl deliver the mess to him/embarrass him/seeing her reaction to it.
I wouldn't say I'm exactly into humiliation but for me, seeing women get pied or slimed is as much about the domination as it is the mess. I've always said it doesn't matter if the pie-er is a man or a woman but the victim has to be female. But if the pie-er is male, he absolutely cannot get messy (beyond a little collateral damage, that's fine). For me, that spoils the domination aspect some.
Honestly, I prefer it even if female pie-ers don't get messy although that is not in any way a firm rule for me. I can certainly enjoy a female pie victim getting some revenge on her female pie-er but that would still lessen my enjoyment of the domination aspect.
