Believe it or not, I saw a sign yesterday advertising a pie throwing event to benefit lymphoma, of which I am a survivor. Talk about ironic. Anyhow, if anyone is in the area, it's at the family video on Manchester Rd tonight from 6 to 8 pm. I'll be there for sure!

for anyone wondering, the event was a complete bust. when i got there, the only employees that had volunteered to get pied were 2 teenage boys. and not a single person paid the 5 bucks to pie either of them. not one single pie thrown. but, being a lymphoma survivor i did make a donation to the cause. they had quite a few gift baskets being raffled off and some other fund raisers going on, so they still made some cash for the research. i spent the rest of the evening knocking back shots of crown royal with some friends and somehow made it to work saturday morning.
