I'm a bit new but I love pies in my face and body!! I've been slimed twice but for me it's the pies I love don't understand when they want a crust though I like it SMOOOTH!!
I am with you on the crust, I can take it or leave it as long as the pie makes a giant mess. Lots of cream and gooey filling to really enjoy the squish sensation on my face.
At the end of the day it's what ever feels the best to you. There are endless opinions on here and what feels good for you should always be the most important for you.
It just doesn't FEEL as nice to me. I like cool whip the best. It's feels sooo good!!! Shaving cream looks great though. But the crust changes the whole texture. And I love cool whip because it's yummy and overall just love it on and in me! This one was 5 pies! Last two were a sandwich! It's my favorite I've ever made! I agree crust looks great. I was delicious.
Coolwhip is hard to beat! It's so versatile and squishy! I love mixing coolwhip with cherry filling or pudding filling. The colour contrast amd texture is amazing every time.
I get why some people need to include it, but if things get more intimate than a photo session, those little effing crust crumbs drive me to distraction. It's like the old fable of the Princess and the Pea..nis.
One thing you might try is a standard pastry crust instead of the graham cracker variety. It will add "chunks" to the cool whip, of course, but it won't break down as much as graham crusts and it doesn't get all "gritty" like the graham crusts do.
You can buy these pie crusts frozen at almost any grocery store and I believe they're also cheaper than the graham cracker crusts. You DO have need to bake them, but they only need about 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven, and if you get clever with your placement you can bake about 10 crusts at a time in most standard-sized, two-rack ovens (at least standard US ovens). You should also let them cool down for 15 minutes or more when they come out of the oven before adding cool whip or pudding or pie filling.
hahah yes! thats what im saying, and when i wipe my eyes clean to see the crumbs ruin thats nice smooth sweep lol

If you really love it smooth. Shaving cream off heavy paper plates gives amazing coverage, can build up really well, and give you a very smooth look and feel.
Definitely go with sensitive skin stuff though, if you can.
