So I know SC pies have been shamed over the years apparently. I actually don't mind them. My only thing is A) Just after one or at most two you can barely see the models face. So it's like instead of a pied vid it's more like a Marshmello shoot. They turn into like a blob of white stuff with barely 5 pies. Is that what people who like SC pies are looking for?
B) Learned from Zack and rich's vids the SC burns. So I kinda cringe watching it hoping they don't get it in their eyes. Some models I've seen even has red eyes from it. Zack especially makes Suresh they keep their eyes closed for this reason.
If I had to choose between no shoot at all or SC shoot I'd pick SC everytime though. It isn't bad at all. Just was wondering why others on here tend to discriminate against SC pies? What do you think?
Visually, there is a definite and distinct appeal to shave cream. If using pie for a personal session with the wife, her skin is far too sensitive for her to be covered in shave cream and, for that reason, we use exclusively sweet items and it must be only real pie.
For the reasons you mentioned but also because I don't consider it "messy". It's just soap, it's not sticky or slimy. Once it's introduced into a scene the model has to be careful not to get anything in their eyes or mouth. Shaving cream pies aren't real things, so when they're introduced, it makes the scenario seem less real.
During some of my pie sessions, I've found that sc pies can be tweaked to look like real pies by adding water and/or food coloring. The burning eyes are a concern, but it's just so much cheaper and easier than real pies.
I like it because the coverage is a lot more reliable than whipped cream. Slapstick Stuff is great at getting a great result from whipped cream but not many others are. I understand why some don't like it, but it's my go to.
As you can tell by my name, I sort of like the stuff. There are a lot of pros for shaving cream. It's always ready to use. You don't need a lot to make an effective pie. Small 6" paper plates work great if you want to use multiple pies. It only takes a minute to make a pie. It's easy on, easy off, easy to clean. It can be colored and/or watered down for splat effect or slime. It's great for sex! (You can keep a couple of cans in the nightstand!) Quantity is everything! Try rolling around in 10-20 cans of shaving cream on the bed, by yourself or with a partner. It is a total tactile experience! You don't have to cover your faces to enjoy it if you don't want to. You smell good when your done. ( not the baby barf smell of old whipped cream)
Down side. They don't throw well. Better for pushing. It doesn't taste great. It can sting the eyes if your not careful. Some people have allergic reactions to shaving cream on their skin. Test to first. (I do with some brands and not others)
About the eyes It stings. If you get it in your eyes it will sting. Your eye lashes protect your eyes. Don't scrape hard across your lashes. With one finger, start at the inside corner of your eye and drag it gently across the lashes. Before opening your eyes squeeze them closed tight and then gently open them. Too much resistance, wipe them again. If you get it in your eyes the will sting and turn red. If your eyes are clear of shaving cream and it is stinging, don't close them tight. Open them wide! This will cause your eyes to tear up and rinse them out. This is the fastest way to get rid of the sting.
Other tips.
Put a plastic sheet on the bed. Cover it with a fitted sheet. Much better for looks and photos. Which plastic only you have a slip and slide. Clean up is easy. Pull the sheet off and bring it to the shower.
If you want to introduce a significant other to WAM. Shower together. Start with a little shaving cream play. Easy on easy off and can be rinsed away instantly. Save the pie to the face for later. And have the do it to you first.
Shave her legs. As high up as she will allow. Be gentle. Feel to make sure you are doing a great job. When you are done, do the kiss test. By Kissing her legs your lips will find any places you missed. Again, go as high as she will allow. This can associate shaving cream with pleasure.
For the guys, have her shave your face. She will most likely make a mess putting the shaving cream on you. Then instruct on how to proceed. Kiss test here too!
I'm very much a fan of shaving cream pies. Shaving cream feels amazing and it gives a great cartoonish, slapstick-looking pie-hit due to how thick it is.
I prefer real whipped-cream because as they warm up and melt, the cream turns to . . . cream, and it coats wherever it dripped in a shiny, slippery surface. Shaving cream doesn't melt or drip or do much other than blob off onto the floor.
I prefer the real thing to shaving cream. However, when doing a filling type video, nothing looks better than watching shaving cream fill something. Keeping its texture and everything and not melting makes it better for those activities.

That right there is the lowest possible bar: I'd rather see a model hit with shaving creams pies than see nothing at all.
Even I agree with that statement, and I have a very strong preference for whipped cream pies -- or much better still a real pie topped with whipped cream.
That being said, some people do shaving cream pies a lot better than others, at least for my preferences. To me, a real pie or a pudding pie topped with a mountain of whipped cream pie is the gold standard, and the closer a shaving cream pie can come to looking like this, the more I like it. (That effect is often achieved by mixing in a little bit of water with the SC. Too much water, though, and it becomes like a smooth white slime, which I don't care for.) Because of my desire to see a real pie emulated as much as possible, SC tends to be more acceptable for me when it is combined with a real crust and a pudding base.
The thing that some SC fans love most about an SC multi-pieing -- the way almost infinite amounts of it can stick to the models face, hair, and body; and the way the model can develop a massive "globe" of SC around her whole head -- is actually not very appealing to me at all, because it destroys any possible illusion that the model is being hit with real pies. Most people who love SC in and of itself and of course have no desire for any "illusions" of this nature, so this sounds ridiculous to them. But let's face it -- a pie fetish is a ridiculous fetish almost by definition (but ridiculous in a good way!), and we all have our strange micro-preferences within the Venn diagram of the overall wet and messy fetish.
Friends. Once again. Barbasol Aloe & Kyro syrup. I have used this combo for 30 years, no issues ever. And is looks fantastic, if you know my stuff, then you know I make great pies Plus, talk about burning? Whip cream? Pudding? Anything oil in base? Get that shit in you eyes and it burns like hell for hours.

True I also get confused at times and eat it forgetting it's not food
The best pies. I've always used them to pie my two wam partners, and both girls loved the smooth, creamy feel of them, they make a great mess, smell nice and are easy to clean up afterwards. It even cleans the floor!
I've always liked shaving cream pies because of the exaggerated comedy style of them. As my profile pic shows, Tiswas style pies were probably my first experience of seeing women getting messy.
I may or may not be a fan of shaving cream lol. A lot of pros and cons have been made here so I won't add to them but I do want to address the argument that shaving cream isn't "messy" because I find it interesting. Like if one uses shampoo as a form of slime or gunge is that messy or not?
I think the M in WAM doesn't strictly refer to something that's lets say savory for example but the overall act of using a substance to cover oneself or another with as a "turn on" is what defines that part of the fetish, and that includes shaving cream. Just my two cents!
Goodness! where have you all been living the past 30 plus years? Non-dairy Cool whip (properly thawed and/or mixed with pudding produce) produces a great effect with no soured / stinky smell under lights (and edible by nearly all).
Some poster remarked:..."it's cheaper and easier..." ...there is the main reason for using SC. for that is the reason TV shows (especially in the UK) began using it (and no doubt some prissy actors complaining about getting real pie in their hair, on their clothes).
AS for 'stinging' the yes...Cool Whip (or rel whipped cream) and/or pudding does NOT sting the eyes (unless the filling has citric acid in it, like real lemon pie filling)...it just makes the eyes a bit goopy for awhile. The exception here is marshmallow fluff which can (surprisingly) cause some eye stinging/burning sensation.
I use shaving cream for solo sessions because it's trivially easy to clean up. I also like how it is sticky and can be spread around my body. It's also dirt cheap, especially the generic or store brand
Protip: buy shaving cream labeled for sensitive skin. The sensitive skin formula does not burn the eyes anywhere nearly as much as other formulas. I exclusively use sensitive skin (and would rather walk out of the store empty-handed if the sensitive skin is out of stock) and get almost no burning in my eyes.
I absolutely love shaving cream and using it for making shaving cream pies one cause it is inexpensive and widely available cause I am on a limited budget and cannot afford the supplies to make real pies most of the time and two, the total coverage that it provides cause I love seeing the girl next door or a very cute and attractive woman totally obliterated with shaving cream even with little bit of the crust sticking after the pie has been delivered which Pie Zone has mastered really well and I like thd way they sculpt the shaving cream to make it look close to a real pie that has been generously topped with whipped cream piped out of a 5 pointed star tip. Yes, it may have its downsides and I do like real pies as well but shaving cream and shaving cream pies are something I really get into.
midwestmess: I think you meant to say that Shaving Cream is not food...Cool whip certainly qualifies as food, of course.
I believe that shaving cream fans prefer SC for two additional (but significant) reasons: 1] it was used in the pie gag they first remember or got excited from seeing, and 2] it is consistent; always the same (so they can relive that first excited pie gag, over and over).
A few more thoughts on Shaving cream. The main reasons I like it is it's thick. I like WAM that sticks where you put it. Real pies made of or topped with whipped cream or cool whip melt with body heat and turn into an oily slippery mess. I personally don't like the oil film on my eyes. But with enough blinking it goes away. Frosting is fun, but it is heavy and greasy. My least favorite wam is thin runny slime. It doesn't stick to anything. It's the same to me as colors water.
Other things you can do when you play with shaving cream: Add water to make it heavier and more throwable. It's easily colored. You can put it in a pastry bag and decorate with it. Shaving cream fights are FUN! Pinch the nozzle on the shaving cream can and you can shoot it 15-20 feet! Aerosol nozzles can work great if you find the right type. Some give a needle fine stream that can almost sting. Others work like snow. I covered my girlfriend before in a thin coating head to toe! There are 2 type of nozzles. Like found on deodorants and air fresheners. These have a hole in the bottom and fit right onto a shaving cream can After you pop the top off. The nozzles on spray paint have the stem attached to the nozzle and won't work with the shaving cream can. You have to search to find one that has the spray pattern you like.
Another fun thing to try is get some aquarium tubing that fits over the nozzle of the shaving cream can. You need to epoxy it on! 2 ft of hose max is all you need. The pressure in that little hose will pop it off right away. I even reinforce it with thread to make sure it stays put. Now you have a hose that you can slip inside clothing. Inside a bra, down your ladies panties, inside your shorts! Shoe filling while your wearing them! It fills the tiniest gap! The foam wants to expand tight fitting clothing keeps it dense. We tried it with Saran Wrap tight around the torso. We wrapped the hose against the skin. It was quit the feeling!
Shaving Cream is not just for pies. It's a whole tactile experience waiting to be discovered.
