How was that used cuz that would be odd to launch a 2 lb pie with out it falling

I've seen video of game shows where they catapult a large cake towards a lucky girl. I think a pie might fall apart to much, but something with heft like a cake, should work.

I'll look into and ad dig up that vid just to get a Idear of the design
