does anyone else think that a lady's eyes are better open post-pie? In my opinion, that is much more satisfying.

Most videos don't make that provision so I guess I may be in the minority...

Feel free to post example pictures for the delectation of all! (but particularly me).

Agreed, but take it from me: It's not as simple as saying "don't wipe off right away" or "tilt your head up when you get slimed." A lot of models simply can't or won't open their eyes without wiping first... which you can't fault them for. That's a LOT of gunk around the eye area and some have way more sensitive eyes than others.

The probability of "open eyes, no wiping" goes up exponentially if you're using real pies. Runny whip cream, while not good for much else, does make it easy to open the eyes first.

If you're using shaving cream, forget it. It WILL sting if you open your eyes without wiping, and even the bravest model won't do it more than a couple times before she decides to wipe first. And if a producer uses 100% shaving cream, forget about it. You're just NOT gonna get that look in their videos.

Best models for me doing this: Kristen (SS103/114/127), Shelly (ALL the time), and Lindsay (SS135/117, and there's an eye opening she does in SS66Scene2 that's perfect). Also lil' Amber (SS36/55) would randomly do it, same with Zarah, and it was pretty great....

Long eyelashes and sloppy pies...that's the way! BTW that pic I put up to accompany this post...was from your very first video. One of the greatest hits in history! Think the eyes-open malarkey is why the Natalie Wood pie was so awesome too.

Seeing the eyes is a must. If the girl opens her eyes without wiping like in the pics above, that is awesome. But when they just wipe their eyes and nothing else...... well, that is pretty acceptable too.

It depends on their natural human reaction. Sometime in a produced video, they are in robot mode where they listen to the producer and do what is told but sometimes can't help it because of their natural instinct. They are also prepared to be creamed.

Now when you hit them with a pie when they least expect it...........

I for one love it if the model opens her eyes without wiping. I agree with Rich, you don't see it much, and very rare with Shaving cream. I did find a few who opened up their eyes after being pied, even one wearing shaving cream!!

Yeah for me I'm almost spoiled to the point with all the pies we get nowadays that the scene really almost has to include this look in order for me to appreciate it.

Speaking of that, what is that first Gif above me? Where is it from? It's Ken's work but I'm not familiar with the scene. Thanks to anyone who would enlighten me on that.

Back to the discussion, does anyone else find it odd or annoying that ladies only rarely pull this look off, yet it seems like every single random guy pied on gameshows or wherever invariably always do this?

Rich, you've been on the receiving end of pies, although I don't know if you've done this look yourself. Is it something innate or do you have to work to pull it off? I wonder if the pie content itself or how it's applied has anything to do with it? Maybe it's easier if you nail the **** out of the person and people are just much more likely to hit a guy hard than a girl?

Opening the eyes without wiping first is not a requirement for me. However, I do love it when someone does open their eyes without wiping!

There is something very special to me with the look of the cream all in close around the eyes and just the opening of the eyes showing. That is very hot to me!

Personally, I *hate* ANYTHING in my eyes! I even find it hard to open my eyes underwater. But with all the times that I've been pied, I've managed to open my eyes a few times, though most of the time they stay closed until wiped.

It's not hard to do with Cool Whip or a real pie. I'll do it when I'm pied instead of wiping first because it looks better... Although, in fairness, most models I work with will also open their eyes without wiping if it's a real pie. Especially if it's not their first time and they "understand" how to do it.

I've also tried the same with SC but it's very hard, as I mentioned... In fact, I will open my eyes without wiping after SC and it really STINGS. To the point that I will have to wipe regardless. And I'll have red eyes afterwards... And that's after 4 to 6 pies total! Imagine a shoot where a model gets 50+ pies over multiple scenes... ALL shaving cream... No way can she open without wiping or she'll be blind by the end!

Case in point: The curly haired girl from Ken's vids who opens her eyes is doing that on her first pie of the scene (and maybe of the entire shoot)? A couple more SC pies in, she's stopped doing it altogether. In future shoots she doesn't even bother to try opening, she just wipes immediately. Shaving cream HURTS and it's no surprise models actively dislike it...

As long as there is total coverage at some point, I'm ok with either a wipe or no wipe .... as long as the wipe isn't too thorough. My wife is really good at getting off about 75% of the pie in one two handed wipe, sadly. She does give me as long as I want to appreciate the coverage before doing it though.

Rich, I agree with you. Shaving cream does tend to sting. I have used shaving cream before myself and found that if you use the "sensitive skin shaving cream, and thin it with water, it will be much gentler on the eyes!! Having said that, here is another Anglefan clip where a model opens her eyes after being pied "really well"!! Great hit, and cute model!

Yeah, that's a definite one where the photographer says "open your eyes" so she does it.
But you have the whole video... Does she keep that up? Or after all the SC does she simply wipe it away? I would bet the latter for all the eye problems mentioned above.

I love that gif! She is cute and gets a great pie! Fabulous mess! I love the slow burn that she does and I love the "eye opening" without wiping! :lovestruck:

Gee Rich, this is turning out to be quite the debate! Don't mean to over argue this point, but........Yes, the I do have the entire video, and you are correct, after the first pie, she wipes her eyes on every other pie.

However, going back to the first gif I posted with the cute curly haired blonde, that was actually the 2nd pie she took where she did not wipe her eyes, I am posting the first pie. So, that would be 2 pies back to back where she does not wipe her eyes. Also, at the end of the clip, Ken smears shaving cream in her face and again she opens her eyes, making it 3 times total. I think she is able to do this because Ken waters his shaving cream down quite a bit, at least that is what he has told me. Here are the gifs to prove my point!

Btw, I am also posting a slime gif where she does not wipe her eyes just because it looks so good!

And eye opening is SOOOOOO great! I LOVE that look! I even like it when they wipe JUST the eyes. It's cute and almost comical seeing a set of eyes peeping out beneath a mound of mess. Kinda like a kitten hiding in a pile of clothes haha! XD

Not really. Barbasol without menthol burns LESS. But still more than any other non-SC substance you can use for a pie.

Rich, yes I have the entire clip and you are correct in this case. She wipes her eyes on all future hits!

Now, going back to the first clip of the curly blonde from AnglefanNC1, that gif I posted is actually the 2nd pie hit, she had one prior to that, she also did not wipe her eyes on that one either so that posted clip would be her second hit in a row where she did not wipe. Also, the last hit in the clip Ken covers her face in shaving cream and she again opens her eyes without wiping. Its a great scene.

I am attaching the 1st and 2nd clip of her as well as the last one. Also attaching one slime clip where she opens her eyes without wiping after slime. I know that is not that big a deal, but it looks great!! Enjoy!

I have found that "Gilette Foamy sensitive skin" works great and is pretty forgiving on the eyes! Just my two cents. I have used it before and is the best shaving cream for pies IMHO!!

The eyes opening is important to me, but a wipe of the eyes doesn't ruin anything for me. Wiping off everything would be bad, but there's an aesthetic I kind of like about the horizontal finger trails under the eyes.

I have found that the depth of the material on top of the eyelashes is what makes the difference as to whether or not you can open your eyes. If it is thin you can open your eyes. Your lashes are designed to keep things out of your eyes. If it is thick. There is no way you can do it. In some of the clips posted you see the models scrunch their eyes first. That is squeezing away some of the thickness and then allowing them to open their eyes.

If the model wipes with one finger lightly right across their lashes, it will give them the ability to open their eyes through a very thin layer. This looks remarkably similar to an open without wiping look. It works for pie and shaving cream.

A little trick I have found if you get shaving cream in you eyes is, after you clear the eyes enough so the foam won't get back in, you close them real right for a few seconds then open them wide and hold them open. Yes this stings. But only for a few seconds. As you hold them open you natural tears wash out what is stinging and you can see again without pain. It won't help the redness tho.

Never really thought about this aspect ... but this thread made me review my scenes a little. And i can confirm that opening the eyes without whiping is almost impossible with shaving foam.

- The first girl in this Japanese skit does a great job of sitting there and taking it. She doesn't fully open her eyes by the end but I don't think it even matters. A great scene for me for sure.

I've noticed one trick to get the model to open her eyes directly after she gets hit without wiping is to have both of her hands occupied! For those who follow Slapstick Stuff's work, you know he fairly regularly does some sort of skit that has the model holding a couple of pies while she gets a few thrown in her face. Sometimes this yields the "eyes open without wiping" look.

That is a good trick I picked up years ago. The "look" of someone holding two pies definitely brings anticipation... And then practically, having the hands full keeps the person from wiping early. And yes, a lot of times they'll open their eyes without wiping... Again, out of practicality.

Tying the models hands behind her seems to also work!
