I'm not strapping this into a gender preference because I think feedback on this applicable to us all.
Believe it or not, I haven't done much with peanut butter... but today as I was eating this disgustingly delicious crap for crap donut with a peanut butter filling I realized I want to.... but I'm not trying to get all Paula Deen about this shit either so the cheaper and easier the better.
I wish I could just go to the Dunkin Donuts bakery and ask for a big bucket of it but I can't. So I want to hear from you all about how you use peanut butter... like can you mix it with margarine to save on the costs of butter to make it creamier??
Will that make a successful peanut butter slime?
What can you add to make it fluffy? Like for throwing pies...
Does anyone have any examples of previously successful peanut butter concoctions that have been easy and inexpensive?
I'm hoping to create a creamy and fluffy peanut butter substance for my up and coming birthday party so I'm looking forward to hearing from people about their peanut butter slime and pie stories.
Haven't done anything slop-wise with peanut butter myself but hope to very soon. . . .. In the meantime one of the the most decadent ultra-cheap snack foods you can "make" at home are cinnamon/brown sugar PopTarts (the kind from Kellogg) smeared, after heating, with extra chunky peanut butter.
I usually cover myself in marshmallow fluff first then a good coating of PB, and go from there. I prefer the smooth PB. I generally just hit Costco and buy it in bulk and that's plenty for good coverage. I haven't really mixed it with much since its kinda thick as it is so just never really thought about watering it down or anything. I will say this since PB is made with oils, it can absorb into your skin and you will smell of PB for a bit, so I usually don't use it as a first layer.
It is good if you make a layed pie, I usually do a layer of fluff then a layer of PB on top and then some pudding and whipped topping!
Inexpensive, no..delicious yes. I found out how to make fudge the old school way. Cover your body nutella + peanut butter + body heat and you get fudge.
If not covered in frosting, are you really living?
