My producers tell me only 3 to 5 people buy those videos. And that goes along with the fact that there are only 5 or so people on here that regularly reply to my posts promoting those videos.

I love that this is a forum where everyone can have their own niches that they enjoy, especially since you seem to have the resources to pay producers to bring them to life. Kudos to you! Personally, I do not enjoy shaving cream or humiliation, and am indifferent on clothing; so I don't see myself purchasing any of your scenes. Great choice in models, though!

Yeah, simplest explanation is it is damned hard to find your store. It isn't on your profile and I had to go through backlog of 20 or so posts just to find something with a link. I love the pie composition and coverage, but 20 dollars is also a bit too much. I think those are two major factors holding you back :/

My post was just meant to think out loud that I am one of 5? people on planet Earth that like what I like. Do with it what you will.
Most of my videos have been done with the following producers: Cali Logan, Jordana Leigh, Hannah Perez, and Dixie Comet.
Many are $20-$30. Expensive? Yes, but they are mostly 30 to 40 minute videos. And these ladies had to ALOT of work on them.

I think you have just figured out better than most people exactly what you like. I feel like most people know what they like when they see it, but have never really nailed exactly what pushes their buttons, much less commissioned a producer to make it for them. So they know they like messy girls, and gravitate towards producers who turn out more generic 'girls getting messy' content. Whereas your vids are much more specifically tailored to deliver exactly what YOU like. And there's only one you, Bozo! But that specificity is going to contain elements that people may find distracting or even a turn off.
I reckon there is a large subset of wammers who like humiliation, but a smaller number who like comedic humiliation, further reduced by the people who prefer full nudity, or fully clothed, and so on - until it's just a handful who are prepared to spend the money on a Bozo scripted vid.

Other factors could be the hosting (honestly try finding anything in Clips4sale, to even search page 2 of any wet & messy list you have to edit the address bar because it can't handle the ampersand).
Also the price is quite high to tempt many people on the fence. That kind of price gets you in my opinion the very best produced videos out there, ie Rich's edited scenes, Valentine Network, PieZone.

I will say, the last one sometimes differs. I've had clips with a handful of comments but a lot of sales (and not from the same folks). I've also had posts with a lot of comments, tons of views, but that didn't translate to sales. So it varies.
The more specific your tastes, the less scenes you will find that suit your particular needs. And by the same token, the more specific your scene (AKA a custom designed expressly for you), the less people are gonna buy. Especially if it's priced at $20-30.
Years if not decades ago, options were limited, so if I wanted a pie scene, I might buy one that didn't suit my particular tastes across the board. Maybe half of the hits I would like, the other "eh," but that was a good ratio.
These days, there are SO many options that customers will ixnay a clip for literally any reason. Model has too many tattoos? Nope. Model has not enough tattoos? Nope. Model has blonde hair rather than brunette? Nope. There's one shaving cream pie at the end of 15 real pies? Nope. Slime comes at the end? Nope. Slime isn't chunky enough? Nope. And so on.
For all we know, the people who LOVE your taste in humilation aren't fans of Cali Logan, or the pies she uses (for example). So they would absolutely buy a clip with the exact same setup, but from a different producer or model. Not picking on her, just saying I'm sure that is a REAL scenario for someone out there.

I love what he writes. But sometimes the outcome is not exactly perfect for me... and now, I'm producing my own videos... then. I get exactly what I want...
I would LOVE to hire more of the producers that we know and love here on the umd. BUT they have to meet my criteria and virtually none do.

Agree with you here. Having worked with Hannah Perez several times, I can attest to her incredible dedication and work ethic towards creating fetish videos. Our first two shoots had to carry on well into the night and early morning hours. She had endless energy and put her best efforts into every script while tirelessly working on very little sleep and hours of travel. I'd say you're in good hands with her behind the wheel!

Some good explanations above. Certainly, with the price point, you have to find someone who's taste matches yours pretty closely. At $10, I will buy a video if it looks interesting even if there are aspects of the video I wouldn't choose myself. As the price goes up, so does pickiness.
Way back in the day, you would have porn producers try to produce WAM videos with the hope of capturing some of this small market. It was obvious they didn't know what they were doing-- they weren't wammers/WAM enthusiasts. They would squirt a little whipped cream on the actresses breasts during a lesbian scene and that would be their WAM vid. I will probably catch hell for this, but I still have a bias against producers who aren't into WAM, which makes up a lot of the WAM you find on C4S. I'd agree with this - even WAM people can get filming techniques wrong but at least there's a chance they'll listen and understand when you try and explain the problems. Though with professional custom producers things should be OK if the customer specifies things in enough technical detail. Trouble is when commissioning customs it's easy to get carried away with the wam detail but forget to specify the camera angles.
Regarding the OP's question, in my case clothes ripped or cut off does work, but only after the mess is applied. Fully clothed => messy => rip/cut. Which is probably another example of the variety of niches there are in WAM.

Excellent point!!! When I turn a script, it includes:
links to the clothes on Amazon I want them to buy
the types of pies I want and how many
the camera angles I want (I usually tell them to keep everyone in the shot so they don't miss anything and shoot from the shins up bc feet don't interest me.)
I tell them to NOT have nose rings, pie hats, bras.
Pies to the face only.
I also tell them the mood must be one of bitchiness. I HATE girls getting pied and then laughing it off.
Basically, I am really fussy BUT I articulate my thoughts very clearly and politely and I usually get what I want. When the producers don't do something the way I prefer, its usually bc I didn't mention it in the script. So I make sure to put it in the NEXT script. Hannah and Cadence have done enough movies for me they get it right each time.

You're not alone at ALL in this. This is my WAM fetish in a nutshell - girls getting stripped and slopped, especially if they're bratty, catty, haughty, or just doing things that definitely show them having it coming, and especially if the one handing it out ends up getting the tables turned and stripped and slopped herself. Videos like "The Customer Is Always Right 5" and "The Pie Convention" and the like are some of my favorites, but admittedly so few producers really produce what I want in volume, so I started eventually writing my own fanfics and stories just to have content exist that fit my tastes in abundance.
