Planning on using oil in an upcoming shoot and wondering what type/variety (vegetable? Olive?) should I be using. Will be total coverage including body, hair and face. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Olive oil may be a tad more expensive, but has less odor and is generally more pleasant on the skin. Just be sure to also have plenty of soap (Dawn dish liquid is great) for the model(s) to use for cleaning themselves up after. Use caution when walking around the set, it will be very slippery. Once everything and everyone is clean, fill up the tub with very hot water and soap, then flip the plunger to drain while the water is still hot to flush the drain out.
I recently meet someone that had prime oil from a place in Greek. I was thinking about using it on body after he was speaking with me about it. But for exploring try something like baby oil Would I use it after cooking on body probably but he's super good oil is 100 dollars a bottle. It has a lot of heart aspects that make it super healthy
I made good experiences with coconut oil, very easy to wash out Tip: in hair, First use ONLY Shampoo until it mixed with the oil to a cream. THEN use water, the cream is water soluble.
sunflower oil is fabulous, very glossy & feels great, lots of soap to wash out of clothing & i just towel off , leaves hair & skin feeling so good for days after
Love your work, Bean! Captain Obvious here, but be aware that pies and such will not stick after a coating of oil, so if it's a mixed substance session use it near the end.
