I really like to see nylon rain jackets and rain gear such as the pictures attached in this thread get soaking wet and/or messy and/or muddy! Anyone have great sets to recommend or places to see pictures with nylon raincoats such as the ones in the attachments (north face, columbia, marmot, etc.) getting soaked and/or messy?
We've not used North Face but have done Regatta rainwear, though not sure if that scene has been released yet. Mostly we've used Dickies or Arco rainsuits for these scenes, plus the spectacular long PVC trench coat Maude wears in one scene.

I like the same thing too and is very rare to see these types of "everyday" rain jackets being worn for any type of wet/messy clips. The closest to this i have seen on here would be Cinq and Sougoula with her black regatta jacket which she has done a few scenes which are really fantastic. Another i have come across on youtube is Outdoor Blonde rainjacket fail https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEFS7sMeaT4
I think the reason for the lack of these types of jackets is simply down to cost.

I couldn't find your set with Regatta rainwear.. if you can link it if it's released it would be amazing!
Some North Face in the future could be cool as well

I saw the stuff from Cinq and Sougoula! It's amazing! Love it! Would love to see more with these kind of rainwear!
If you fancy seeing muddy rain jackets, you can search for mud run events pictures. Many of those when it rains, there are sometimes people who does the race in rain jackets like the ones we like.
Probably for cost reasons, your right
Also, feel free to message me if you have stuff to share! I have a bunch which you might like if you like the kind of rainwear I'm talking about!

Thanks for the tip, i'll have a search for the mud run events. My wife wears the types of jackets we like and often runs in the rain with the odd sneaky "fall/slip" in a puddle or 2 and also wears them in the hot tub too (not so much this year with daughter being home most of the time due to covid. To be honest the jackets will clean up very easily and with an iron on low heat come out almost like new again. So if anyone does want to buy these types of jackets for wam they will likely last quite a few sessions depending on substances. Unfortunately she will not let me take photos/video of her, i've even tried to sell it to her that she could make a bit of pocket money, but due to her line of work, she is not willing to risk it incase she gets recognised.
