How ??? for Christmas - I have just got out of 90 days lockdown here in Australia while Europe and America are now facing their bleakest Christmas for the 2nd time in 100 years. The last time this happened was in winter 1919- 20 - 21 due to the Spanish Flu and here we are again 100 years later doing the same thing due Corona COVID 19.
Did you not watch Bruce Amighty ? These CDs are a fun joke at compilation Cds. that sell around Christmas.
My mum sent this to me today over WhatsApp and she was diagnosed with cancer in December 2019 and treated with Radiotherapy right through March and Aprils complete lockdown in the UK. My mum has a great sense of humour, if my mum can go through what she did and still laugh it makes me happy. So many people were sharing this today and it made us all smile yes. This week we came out of a month lockdown but us Brits find the lighter side and humour is always a good way to cope with difficult situations. It helps me and my mum anyways....
That was a good laugh indeed! There are some jokes that might be lost on overseas members; particularly references to a notorious top govt advisor who went on a cross-country drive 'to test his eyesight' during the first lockdown and yet stayed in his post.
