And by "go nuts," we mean, "Have Greyworm promise her a cruise on the good ship Live4Ever, just before they're both horribly murdered by White Walkers in the battle airing tonight."

Is it still a spoiler if we all see it coming?
It's so obviously telegraphed I think it would actually be a great unexpected swerve if both of them DO survive.
Then again, this show has been crushingly obvious since it got ahead of ol' George R.R. So yeah, 98% positive one or both of them is a goner tonight.

Not tonight. But I agree, Grey Worm is toast. Hopefully not Missandi; she's just too fine.

Yep. They telegraphed their tragic demise SO hard in Ep2, it would be a shocker if one of them doesn't wind up dead.
This show no longer pivots in unexpected directions. (Thanks George!) The set-ups and pay-offs are usually crushingly obvious. Grey Worm somehow surviving while literally his entire army of (nameless) fighters gets wiped out wasn't an unexpected pivot as much as a "Let's give him a heroic death in another episode." (Ditto Davos, and Brienne, and Tormund, and probably Jamie after he kills Ceresi.)

I was actually surprised how safe they played it. I thought there would be at least a few main characters bite the dust. I was also surprised that it all ended in one episode; after 7 seasons of winter coming, the whole threat basically vanished in an instant. I guess I should have seen that coming... I can't think of a different way to resolve it. The night king was more of a macguffin than a character anyway, The real story is who is going to sit on the Iron throne. I'm guessing Danny and Jon, but nothing would surprise me.

Turns out i might have been wrong on both deaths. But the episode was so literally dark I cannot tell who died.
